ATLANTA (CBS Atlanta) – The home base for Occupy Atlanta has tested positive for tuberculosis.
The Fulton County Health Department confirmed Wednesday that residents at the homeless shelter where protesters have been occupying have contracted the drug-resistant disease

That or an SEIU convention.
Seems to me that people who donate to homeless shelters need to be made aware that their donations are being used to house marxists who simply want free stuff.
Reminds me of a story from this spring here in Michigan. The SEIU hired some homeless guys from a shelter to picket a small construction company. It turned out that the owner of the company “was” the single largest donor to the shelter.
So, the people who hate capitalism are at risk of getting a disease once called “consumption”?

If feel badly for the real homeless they’ve exposed to TB, the real homeless they’ve displaced, the real homeless whose meals they eat.
That’s a shame because the homeless guys were pawns. It’s no surprise SEIU would exploit homeless. It’s unlikely the “protesters” had any knowledge or motive other than happy to have some income.
Oh really I was expecting Ebola.
Tuberculosis? Very mild considering.

If it was a hot summer protest maybe there would be an outbreak of cholera. Since winter is coming on I guess we can plan on some Pneumonia to go along with the TB.
And they will need doctors and evil Big Pharma meds.
What a terrible shame, those poor homeless people being exposed to diseases carried in by the communist occupation force.

That's the only thing about this charade that is not in the least bit funny. I'm sure a good number of those homeless are impaired in some way, have fallen prey to addiction, or are really down on their luck.
I have *zero* sympathy for the OWS folks. They are the epitome of the mindset that seems to be ingrained in the left, and IMHO, is evident in scandals like Solyndra, albeit on a different level. Part of that mindset (often attributed to the right) is stepping on others to "get yours". What makes it scary is that it is justified by the idea that it is ok to step on others if "your cause is just".
hmmm TB,head lice,rapes, theft could be disinformation to get them to leave on their own
Could be a rumor started by the “government” to empty the camp.
Given all the ‘rats there, I would have guessed the plague, though.
