SHE said, however, THE ASSOCIATION said it was a SEVERANCE package. Another couple of clues: There was NO complaint to the EEOC. Had her lawyer thought she had a legitimate claim he would have reported it because IT WOULD HAVE MEANT A BIGGER PAYOUT (lawyers typically like bigger payouts...it lines their pockets and improves their reputation). Why would he NOT have gone to the board that deals with harassment? A lawyer with a GOOD case would have been remiss (even negligent) to NOT have gotten the appropriate justice for her. Instead, he accepted the kind of low settlement companies hand out for nuisance complaints. And then, SHE MADE THE SAME KIND OF CLAIM AT HER NEXT JOB. Either she was so irresistible men just couldn’t help herself or it’s a pattern of behavior. If you have REAL proof then lay it out. Otherwise, take your accusations somewhere else. Put up or shut up.

I agree with you 100%, but Cain does not agree with your contention, that’s why he hire “that” lawyer to shut em up.

“Bialek and Kraushaar are Republicans”

Wonder why these women claim to be Republicans? I believe there just might be a story there if someone wanted to dig a bit.

And just WHO has that lawyer “shut up”? The women are perfectly free to speak out (one already did though her story is just silly). Both have their own lawyers to protect their legal interests so since they have the same kind of legal representation that Cain has what do they have to fear? Oh, welcome to Free Republic by the way.

We must engineer "Cain Bimbogate-Fatigue". One way to disarm it is with humor. But that which makes more fun of the accusers than Cain. It raises his name ID, and has been proven now to actually raise his CONTRIBUTIONS!!!

TURN IT, AIKIDO-LIKE, RIGHT BACK SMACK AROUND ON THEM. They are very stupid. They are not very tactical, these Libs, and these RINOs like Karl Rove and Michael Medved. They will these charges as soon as they put two and two together, and realize it is backfiring horribly and actually building up the Cain Machine. This is an amazing sideshow to the whole 2012 race to the White House. It will be in a documentary of how Cain flipped massive negatives into positives. He did this throughout his career, now he is doing it in his first foray into politics. That is why the Beltway, both Dem and RINO, hate him so much. They have never seen it before. It is a form of "penis envy". LOL.

I wondered why no EEOC complaint? Once a complainant has settled with an employer it does NOT preclude them from also going through EEOC for a larger payout.

I think there is one more thing being overlooked: we don’t know what the $46,000 was for.

I've heard from literally dozens of employment lawyers and HR sources.

Seems the "coin of the realm" for a "nuisance" sexual harrassment settlement is $35,000. That total amounts to the insurance company's minimum cost of opening a court case. A baseless nuisance suit would be settled for that amount. I understand one of the settlements in the Cain case was exactly that number.

Out of the settlement amount, her attorney is due one-third and she also must pay one-half of the investigative costs (depositions, etc.). The plaintiff usually leaves the building with a net of $17-18,000.

A $46,000 settlement is certainly in the "nuisance" ballpark. If it was a serious case, you can bet that neither the lady nor her attorney wouldn't have settled for comparative peanuts.

You haven’t been keeping up with the time-line of events. The $46K was a ‘severence package’ that was agreed to two years (thats 2 years) after he left the NRA. So I agree with Mr. Cain, he didn’t know what the amount was because he wasn’t part of the organization.

Of course he disputed the charges. Then he turned it over to his general counsel and HR manager to investigate, and he recused himself.

Really? You’re showing up just now to post this crap, like it hasn’t already been totally taken apart from end to end here at FR?

Just damn.

1) The managers of the smear want to plant FUD in the minds of Pubbie women, so they want "victims" whom Pubbie women can identify with and 2) They want to avoid the appearance that this is a Demonrat slander operation.

Kraushaar’s only contribution in the FEC database is $250 to the DNC. Of course, the media couldn’t take the 30 seconds it took me to look that up, it’s easier to just run with the “AND SHE’S A REPUBLICAN!” propaganda.

I don’t know you tell me? If the incident he is telling to anyone that will listen isn’t in the complaint. WHO is CAIN talking about?

I think you've been sufficiently swatted for tonight, especially after your disgusting post @ #32. You ARE a dirtbag, and you once again prove that beyond ANY doubt.

(thank you mods, for riding herd on that disgusting site pest)

That makes sense if Pubbie women are that gullible, which I hope not. This stinks so badly that it seems there has to be something more that that - ‘enemies in the camp’ type of a thing.

BTW don’t mean to sound dumb, but what is FUD?

Too bad her attorney won’t let the rest of us read her complaint. How bad could it be for $46,000? “ He looked at me funny”. “ He ate a french fry off my plate.”
