I was going to say that these kids could end up with diseases that will last them far longer than the encampment but it looks like it is already happening.You can’t really do anything once you have that except live under rules to keep the general public safe from you and a life time of meds.

On the southern end of Roosevelt Island under the Queensboro bridge are some dilapidated buildings that were used as an insane asylum and TB sanitorium until 80-90 yrs. ago. Maybe it’s time to create “shovel ready” jobs and restore this facility and ship the occupunks to their new home.
