I saw Romney lose a debate to Ted Kennedy. I will now type that again for those who think they’re hallucinating: I saw Romney lose a debate to TED KENNEDY!
_______________________________________________

I found something interesting the other day...

apparantly the reason why Romney lost the election to Ted Kennedy in 1994 wasnt his fault...

it was his wifes fault...

Wikipedia: Ann Romney

“Her personality as a political wife was viewed as superficial and was a detrimental factor in her husband’s eventually losing effort in the 1994 U.S. Senate election in Massachusetts.”

Kantor, Jodi (2007-12-16). “The Stay-at-Home Woman Travels Well”. The New York Times.

No. I was living in Massachusetts at the time. Romney’s wife wasn’t a factor. It was Romney’s squishiness—he tried so hard to be a William Weld-like liberal Republican that people had no reason to vote for him.

romney should become a Volt salesman. That’s what I believe he is qualified to do.

If Romney loses, there will be the most epic crow-eating from the RINOs and the MSM, and a scrambling in the Obama admin on how to deal with Cain. They’ll have to find some other Stifler’s Mom lookalikes to claim harassment.

So we’re supposed to choose between 4 more years of Obama or 8 years of Romney. Either way the country is finished.

What we need is a romney vs Gingrich debate I saw Romney lose a debate to Ted Kennedy. I will now type that again for those who think they're hallucinating: I saw Romney lose a debate to TED KENNEDY!

Gingrich would destroy him.

They should put it on pay-per-view and split the take. Romney could use it to repair his hair after he's picked up off the floor.

From your lips to Gods ears.

If Romney had come up with an America-wide Romneycare like Obama did, you’d see the RINOs claiming it was a great victory for the constitution.

So Teddy the Hutt wiped the floor with him? Somehow I’m not too surprised. I think that either Cain or Gingrich could steamroll him in a debate, especially if it was a Lincoln-Douglass style event.

The end for Romney came when he started talking about how serious he was about regulating guns. He was trying to out-liberal Ted Kennedy on gun control, and Kennedy went into the whole don’t-tell-ME-my-brothers-DIED-by-guns! routine.

The audience applauded wildly because their hometown boy waved the bloody shirt.

I knew then that Romney was done, because he was so dense as to bring up that subject around a member of the Kennedy family IN BOSTON, and he was trying to be a Republican who was for gun control.

There was just everything wrong with the moment, and he looked like a moron for going right where Ted wanted him to go.

When you’re outwitted by TED FLIPPIN KENNEDY, you got nothin’.

Don't forget the afterparty Civil War, when the winner gets to do what he wants with all the losers. (Happened in real life, too.)

I agree - but I’d, also, like to see Santorum do the same - one on one. He likes to slap Mitt around - showing him the liar he is - then Newt can finish the job showing him the flip flopper Mitt is. Task completed.

We get a 2fer - Mitt done for and the media’s propaganda that he wins all the debates and could take barry out.

Let’s roll!

If Romney is the nominee, I’ll feel like a hostage.

That's where 3rd party comes in - we have nothing to lose but everything to gain, IMO.

Who says Romney will be nominee?

The Lame Stream Media.

We must make it clear to the GOP not to let the LSM choose the nominee for us
