The 2012 Republican Nomination: Now a Close Three-Way Race (Cain in 1st, Milt, Newt tied for 2nd)
CBS News ^ | November 11, 2011

􀂃 In the Republican race for the presidential nomination, Newt Gingrich’s support continues to slowly grow, and he is now tied with Mitt Romney for second place, while Herman Cain just edges both of them out for the top spot. Both Cain and Romney have lost support since late October.

􀂃 61% of Republican primary voters say the sexual harassment accusations against Cain won’t make any difference in their vote, but 30% say the charges make them less likely to back him, and that rises to 38% among women. Cain has lost support among women since last month – from 28% in October to 15% now. He has lost ground with conservatives and Tea Party supporters as well.

􀂃 But the race could still change; seven in 10 Republican primary voters say it is still too early to say for sure which candidate they will support. The field of Republican candidates now has three candidates within striking distance of each other at the top of the list: with 18%, Herman Cain is in the top spot, followed by Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich with 15% each. Support for both Cain and Romney has declined since late last month, and....

It’s not just that he “lawyered up” but who he chose as his lawyer.

When it was announced that somehow all 5 bimbos were going to do a presser (per Drudge) wreaked of conspiracy. Most Americans aren’t stupid. You just don’t coordinate something that quick without some pre-planning.

This is huge. It's why Cain has more up-side than the others.

Wrong. It's the other way around. Newt's support is much stronger than any other candidate, while Cain's support is not. Cain's supporters are more likely to jump ship than Newt's, and when they jump...guess where they are going...the guy he shared the stage with and complemented so well in that recent debate. The guy Cain kept deferring to when he got a difficult question.

It has already begun! FOX News is slobbering all over Newt tonight - at least from what I have listened to...

Really? Was Sarah Palin on again telling us that Newt won the debate and would wipe the floor with Obama in a 1-on-1 debate?

I won’t vote for anyone who doesn’t treat animals well.

I'm with you there my FRiend. Romney is a creep for many reasons that is but one.

It is my understanding that Mrs. Cain, like Mrs. Colin Powell, is a strong Democrat. Is this true?

Mittens is so strong with the establishment that he can finish second and still be the nominee. Surely there is a way to manipulate such a scenario among uninformed voters.

Laura W. Bush was Democrat prior to her marriage into the dynasty. She still hinted that she favored Obama in 2008, as did one of the daughters.

Cain reminds me of the Grandfather hero that I always wanted to have. Somebody to be there for you in your hour of need. Somebody to encourage you to overcome life’s adversities by telling you to get up off the floor when you have fallen down. Somebody to make you believe that there is honor in looking to God, your family, your nation, and yourself. This is how future President-elect Herman Cain inspires me.

I like the way Herman Cain reaches out to the people. For instance, he was asked to phone in for an interview by a talk show host at a small, only 10,000 watts radio station, in liberal NY, and spent a good amount of time on the interview, and he was REALLY good!

Over at Intrade, the clear winner of the last 2 days of debates has been Gingrich.

(Unless you count Ron Paul, whose price has doubled for some reason.)

They are all blondes so far, Cain married a Black women. If He had married a White Blonde ... Cain is also a successful smart guy, these broads are typical Buffalo queens, fake tans, big fake hair, over whitened teeth, cheap cosmetic jewelry, a plastic smile and usually too much perfume. Over bearing, no real degree, they know everything and like the Chickie from Chicago, have financial problems.
Successful guys know to step around and keep moving when one of these lot lizards come slithering around.
