If people there had as much passion for the truth as they do for football, this whole mess would never have happened.

Perhaps the vandalism upon Sandusky’s house has nothing to do with Penn State. The Sandusky home is next door to Lemont Elementary School. Could be it was caused by the parent of an elementary school student.

You are so very correct. Amazingly enough we see the same thing in that the institution is more important than the truth in our government as well.

How many politicians have done the same for all those years when the scandals broke about the pages being abused? In those cases, they were not prosecuted and still today some still collect their pensions.

We The People should be equally indignant of politicians who refuse to tell the truth because isn’t the basis for all dealing supposed to be the truth?

I agree 100%. Nobody enjoys college football any more than I do. I really can't believe this about Joe Pa and Penn State. I always thought he was a better man than what he has shown. The college is no better. I just read on Sports by Brooks that Sandusky was still recruiting for Penn State. Totally unacceptable

Yeah, no downside there.

Matt Millen, former Detroit Lions GM, is tied up in this as well - he is listed on tax forms as the head of Sandusky’s kids charity.

The pages were not 10 to 14 years old...that does not excuse it, but if no complaints were made by them, that's another story...also if you are a dem it does not count

Sandusky and his wife have five sons—all adopted. Go figure. Just waiting for the first of his boys to come forward and make similar allegations. I’m also amazed that Sandusky was released on $100,000 bail, which he only has to pay if he fails to show up for court. I can’t imagine any other jurisdiction where an accused child rapist would be allowed to post bail; but, as others have observed, there are plenty of people at Penn State who hope Sandusky will take himself out of the gene pool before his case goes to trial.

Don’t know if it’s accurate, but I read that McQueary (sp?) was friends with his adopted son? Could explain a whole lot about this incestuous conspiracy of silence. I only really know that I don’t know the half of what went on. I am not sure I want all the details. I just want to know that justice gets done, football be damned.

Football brings in money for the school, so someone, player or coach, fiddling with little ones need to be protected.
And politicians? Voting for the same ilk says a lot about “we the people” for allowing them on the ballot in the first place.

I'm not gonna be happy until an angry mob drags him outta his house and slowly rips his body to pieces. He deserves the full cruel and unusual punishment. His generational victims need real justice.
