Ballot Access News ^ | October 21st, 2011 | Richard Winger

As of mid-day, October 21, only two individuals have filed to be on the New Hampshire Democratic presidential primary, Barack Obama and Darcy G. Richardson. However, filing doesn’t close until October 28.

Darcy Richardson is the author of six books, all non-fiction books involving U.S. political history. He lives in Jacksonville, Florida, and has recently worked in the financial services industry. He has extensive political experience, and he frequently blogs at UncoveredPolitics.

So do we finally get a Democrat party debate? MSNBC? Or is this a sham candidate to the left of Obama to make him appear more 'center'? I'd guess the guy is getting name recognition and a treasure chest for the 2016 election.

Well, if he wrote six books, that’s SIX more than the Communist-in-Chief ever wrote!

Somebody should change their name to Brack Husin Obama and get on every state ballot as a IND candidate.

Illiterate RATS would be lost at which one to vote for.

Darcy Richardson, a Democrat, reached out to former Labor Secretary Robert Reich and Ohio Representative Dennis Kucinich, trying to find a progressive Democrat to run as a protest vote against President Obama.

When nobody stepped forward, the 55-year-old advertising manager and financial services consultant decided to run.

“I don’t think Obama’s been a fighter for the poor or working class,” Richardson said. “He’s done nothing to turn the economy around.”

Sounds like they found someome with the eloquence of Gingrich.

We are nothing BUT thorns under their saddles ... an intelligent, accomplished (real) black man, an eloquent historian politician, two accomplished and successful women (Sarah is still a viable cabinet member), and any of the others have particular skills and expertise to fill out a complete dance card.

There is hope for America .. and .. I can't WAIT 'til the first R/D debate

According to this there are 3 challengers, I think the last date to file was Oct 28 or so, but here’s the debate, well, if the media wants to be ‘fair’ to the Democrat challengers...

You remind me of Rick Perry telling us what a good debater Obama is, Rush Limbaugh clarified that, I’d think Perry should have already been aware and would have been more realistic to make a joke about not having a teleprompter;

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2011/11/10/rick_perry_s_brain_freeze_and_why_the_gop_establishment_is_angry_at_conservatives

Rush “I happen to remember Obama was being talked to or interviewed by Bob Schieffer of CBS (the anti-smoking crusader) during a presidential debate in 2008 about what federal programs he would cut. Obama talked and talked, and he insisted he would cut programs, but he didn’t — I remember talking about this — didn’t name a single place or thing or program.

He didn’t name a single thing, but he goes on and on and on in that debate. (Obama impression) “I’m gonna cut! Of course we’re gonna cut. Nobody’s better at cutting than I cut! I’ll cut and cut!” He didn’t name anything he was gonna cut, and then Schieffer asked McCain the same question and McCain gave specifics. Not nearly enough to please Schieffer, though. Obama zilch, zero, nada specifics; McCain gave all kinds of them. But Schieffer thought that McCain had botched it. Then Obama got a chance to speak for a few more minutes, and he did not name a single program he would cut the second opportunity he had to talk about it.

But I don’t remember Bob Schieffer — in fact, I know. Bob Schieffer and the rest of the media did not say anything about Obama’s lapse. He couldn’t think of one! At least Perry got two out of three, but Obama couldn’t think of one. They didn’t seem to notice that he couldn’t name a single program.”

It’s too late for New Hampshire, but in some state where filing is still open, someone should file papers for Harrison J. Bounel, Bari Shabazz, and Barry Soetero. All with the same Social Security number, of course.

Well, I don't agree with your opinion of me based on the analysis you cited.

I (thought I) merely stated that Richardson sounded like he might be able to speak in a manner that would make a Gingrich/Richardson debate interesting.

Yes, I was just elaborating on spontaneously.

First I would like to see MSNBC Matthews and Maddow moderate the Democrat debate. I’d think this guy gets the Hillary support right off getting him up near 50%, then add in the malcontents at OWS, and we’re almost to that Gingrich/Richardson debate!

So if the filing has already occurred, doesn’t that mean someone can challenge BO on his filing that he does not meet the Natural born citizen clause?

Is this where the challenge should occur?

OK

Quite frankly, I can't read sh-t this cycle.

The pubbies have been out in force since ... Sarah, about a year ago ... and there's not been a word (except this Richardson article) from the dims.

I think it's a good tactic in this way;

Bank tellers used to be able to tell a counterfeit by knowing the real one first ... the counterfeit stood out because "it wasn't real"

As time went on and counterfeiting got better and better, THAT tactic lessoned as a reliable way to spot a counterfeit.

With the Republicans out there over and over again, we are being trained to "know the genuine" (so to speak) so that the counterfeit will stick out as a phoney.

At least, that's the best my logic can do for all of this exposure, with no dim counterpart.

January 9, 2012 5:00 PM Last day and hour to file objections to presidential candidates’ nomination papers with the secretary of Commonwealth.
