These polls are crap. As for Palin being more qualified that is debatable. She most certainly is qualified but she’s not in the race and if she were we would not even be talking about this. If you believe this poll you believe that Romney would pick up all those Democrats who give him high marks in this poll which is fiction. This is just a way of mindgaming the GOP. Romney also only gets high numbers because of lack of scrutiny and also the endless Romeny is the best echo chamber in the general election that will drastically change.
Gerald Ford was seen as more electable than Ronald Reagan during the primary season leading up to the Reagan Nomination.
So please people if you can’t keep your heads clear shut the damn talking heads off. They don’t have our best interests not the countries in mind. They want us to believe the fiction in these polls where super majorities of people have absolutely no idea who they would ultimately vote for. You might as well consult a fortuneteller than try to draft strategy with polls like these. Not to mention that by weighing everything so heavily on the ‘electability’ issue you are focusing on the wrong thing where what we should be thinking about is the strategy to win because regardless of candidate nominated it won’t be they who alone wins the day it will be our ability to rally $$$ and effort around them.
So let’s stop with this bull what is happening if we fail to support Cain is that we end up with a Gingrich or Romney. Yes that is such a delightful follow on to 2010. Really people come on. Not going with the one candidate who represents with clarity the American Dream is a travesty. It says far more about how we are not ready and we deserve politicians like Obama because we are not worthy of the Founders if we are to go with ‘safe’ soft candidates. This country wasn’t founded on certainty it was founded on faith and ideas made real through blood sweat and tears.
Let’s rise. Let’s rebuke those that have failed us and let’s not let our moral compass be scrambled for the specter of a victory that we in our actions seem to forget the role we play in materializing that victory.
We must always remember; the last man standing in a field of desolation that was once his country, is still standing in a field of desolation.
Herman Cain for Freedom, Herman Cain for Honor, Herman Cain for Victory.
