Once the investigation/s are complete, we shall see charges of aiding and abetting handed down. With the fanfair and publicity the man has been in, he surely had many people around him that was aware of his actions, thus making them too accessory to fact. I've been in State Law Enforcement for 20+ years and I've seen many so-called celebrities come under investigations for the very same crimes , the penalties he/they will face in prison will be unimaginable to those whom have never seen the inside of prison walls, what the prisoners in there will do to him/them for these offenses is going to be more horrendous than what the courts will do, unless they stay in protective custody their entire time of incarceration and then they still are not safe. I know first hand, for I've had to investigate crimes in protective custody areas in prison of the same accord. I have seen and been around some of the most infamous limelight offenders society could imagine and in the end, the all got what was due to them. With the anger brewing in those whom were assaulted by this man and his accomplices, I would not want to be in their shoes nor would I want to be around them. Can you imagine the hate and anger going on with those whom were offended and the family and friends of those offended. My last word on these people (The offenders of the horrible crimes) are "marked men" once they are sentenced (and they will be) their so-called lives are finished as they ever knew them. They will learn about Living Hell on Earth.

You are right about what they face behind the walls.

Since posting this, I've read further and it makes one wonder if many others could be implicated - it had to be well known throughout the university; for example the janitors that saw activity, the lawyer for Second Mile, and how about PSU's own Board of Trustees? They in particular had to know way back what was going on.

But mudding the waters is this from a PA law journal that I posted elsewhere that may explain why others haven't been implicated, but raises questions about the key players.

Penn State Case to Test Failure-to-Report Law

In addition to the criminal aspects this will no doubt be the mother of all civil suits.

"The state of Pennsylvania? No."

From what I know of Gov. Corbett, he seems like a decent and honorable man. I hope he runs this thing to ground.
