Republican Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann’s campaign is expressing outrage over an internal CBS memo that they said is proof the network mistreated the Minnesota congresswoman during Saturday night’s CBS News/National Journal Debate.
The email was accidentally sent to the Bachmann campaign by CBS News. The campaign decided to release the email to show what they believe was a planned effort to limit questions to Bachmann.
Bachmann’s campaign manager blasted CBS for what he called “concrete evidence confirming what every conservative already knows.”
“The liberal mainstream media elites are manipulating the Republican debates by purposely suppressing our conservative message and limiting Michele’s questions,” said campaign manager Keith Nahigian. “We need to show the liberal media elite that we won’t stand for this outrageous manipulation. Help us fight this affront by sharing this with your friends.”

A serious question: WHO is responsible for setting up these (as well as Presidential) debates?
I realize that only Fox is (somewhat, though even they are questionable) "Objective" but agreeing to all these debates moderated by Biased, Far Left, Hate Conservative, State-Run Media and their moderators/news persons is a recipe for disaster and meant only to try and show the Republicans in the worst light (with their "Loaded" questions) possible.
The candidates should agree that they won't subject themselves to such dog and pony shows and find some other venues (such as the Newt/Cain...whatever it was) and tell the RNC or whoever to go pound sand.

I noticed that Bachman wanted to respond to the efficacy (being denied as such) of Water Boarding and she is in a position to know, but Scotty-Boy would have none of it as I’m sure he didn’t want anyone to dispute the mantra being advanced that any information that was gleaned (and we have enough evidence, at least pertaining to KFC that it WAS valuable) therefrom, and proved to be a treasure trove to the intelligence community.

I remember thinking at the time, how damn rude that was.
Now I know they were just following the script, of keeping her locked out of the discussion.
I would have paid good money to see John Dickerson’s face after he hit “Sent” on that email, and then saw it was sent to Bachman’s people as well.
The sham went two ways:
1. Bachmann literally ignored and cut off at one point. And she’s a current member of Congress.
2. Paul ignored - never mind that he’s a member of the Foreign Affairs committee and an author of a book related to the subject - in a national security and foreign policy type debate - you’d think there’d be deference to that.
...nope they kept going to back to those with no experience - or those currently not in office.
Scripted / controlled - no doubt about it.

We (and Bachmann) are squandering our energy being “outraged” at the MSM bias in favor of the crooked Democrat Party and against Republicans. They are NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER going to wake up. They upheld Adolph Hitler before WWII. Germans who counted on the media to be truthful were disappointed. - The MSM prides itself on being a little club of “special intellectuals”. Save your breath.

Bachmann’s campaign sent the email chain after the debate, claiming it suggested planned bias at the debate.
The congresswoman, who's now registering in the single digits in national polls, was not asked as many questions as the front-runners in the race.
Furious with Dickerson's response, Bachmann’s campaign manager Keith Nahigian stormed through the spin room, where he said, “John Dickerson should be fired. He is a piece of shit. He is a fraud and he should be fired.”

I noticed them shut her down as well and thought she should have just spoken up and demanded to finish her answer.....that’s what the others do. If she wants to be CIC she better get tough...not be polite and obedient.
Gee! that couldn't possibly be because the MSM deliberately minimizes candidates they don't like could it?
