Warren Buffett Reveals His Favorite Republican In The Race
Business Insider ^ | November 14, 2011 | Joe Weisenthal

Warren Buffett is on CNBC this morning...

First, he sees all the Republicans going further and further to the right to out-Republican each other during the primary. It's natural, he says, though he's not sure it's good for the Republic.

...If he had to support a Republican, it would be, not surprisingly, Mitt Romney.

Given that Buffett is a pro-business, mainstream Democrat this obviously makes sense. He doesn't mind his past as a PE cost-cutter, though he's not crazy about Bain Capital's history of drawing cash out of companies they stuff up with debt.

Obama's favorite billionaire would like to see Romney as Obama's challenger.

Special report: The golden age of opposition research......."....” A dossier assembled by the late Sen. Edward Kennedy’s campaign when he was challenged by Mitt Romney in 1994 remains a rich source on Romney’s career at Bain...Democratic strategists are ready to attack Romney as a job-destroying corporate raider if he becomes the GOP nominee.”..

Romney’s Troubling Appointments (Mitt's environmental policy team now works for Obama) …………….“"EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson has taken most of the fire from Republicans as her agency rolls out a slew of controversial new climate and clean air rules. But McCarthy, the EPA assistant administrator of the Office of Air and Radiation, has taken on much of the heavy lifting of writing, structuring, and implementing the rules.

“Lisa’s the coach and Gina’s the quarterback” in the work of rolling out new clean air regulations, said Daniel Weiss, an energy and climate policy expert at the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank with close ties to the Obama administration. “She’s running the plays, improvising on the line.”

Another Romney environmental adviser in the effort to regulate “greenhouse gases” is now Obama’s Director of Science and Technology Policy, John Holdren. Dr. Holdren has some exotic views: …………..

Romney’s Advisers Met With Obama to Help Craft ‘Obamacare’ “Three of Mitt Romney’s advisers went to the White House at least a dozen times in 2009 to consult on the former Massachusetts governor’s health care plan that President Obama used as a model for his initiative -- now a federal law that all the Republican presidential candidates want to repeal.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters Tuesday he was "not in a position to comment on specific meetings." But in a remark that won't help Romney in his pursuit for the 2012 Republican nomination, Earnest repeated that Obama took cues from the Massachusetts legislation.

"You've certainly heard the president himself say that there were a number of very good ideas included in the health care plan that then-Gov. Romney put in place in Massachusetts that were incorporated into the Affordable Care Act and so it’s clear that these are some ideas that we were interested in incorporating and we did incorporate.

Rudy Giuliani asked Mitt Romney the same question in the 2008 CNN debate that Rick Perry asked him during the CNN 2011 debate -- Mitt lost it both times.

Romney’s career at Bain...Democratic strategists are ready to attack Romney as a job-destroying corporate raider if he becomes the GOP nominee.

As opposed to a job-destroying corporate taxer.

"Pro-business, mainstream Democrat" is an oxymoron.

In any case Warren Buffett is pro-Buffett, screw the rest of business world.

[Oct 3, 2011) Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett hosted a fundraiser for the Obama campaign on Friday, with 'disappointing' turnout, one guest told The New York Post. The Obama campaign and the Democratic National Committee generated over $1.5 million from the fundraiser, The New York Times reported, meaning it was at least a partial success, but over a dozen of the $10,000-a-plate seats were left unfilled even after staffers filled empty seats. (Guests could also pay $35,800 to meet Buffett.) http://articles.businessinsider.com/2011-10-03/politics/30237569_1_obama-campaign-fundraiser-empty-seats

Warren Buffett isn’t pro-business, he’s pro-crony capitalism. He’s pro-himself, but anti-everyone else: how else to explain that (a) his company spends millions and millions of dollars to avoid paying the very same taxes he wants everyone else to have to pay more of, and (b) he’s consistently favored government policies (i.e., liberal policies) that make it much, much harder for other people to make the same sort of fortune for themselves that he’s made. Creating barriers to entry for your erstwhile competitors is not pro-business or pro-capitalist, it’s socialist crony capitalism.

Conservatives need to reassess whether buying products from Buffet's companies is a good idea. Why support this fool? Why buy his products? Why make him richer as he destroys our country? Connect the dots, America...

This, combined with the latest reports of insider trading by lawmakers, is more evidence of the charade and theatre that is Warren Buffet. But then again, a critical part of the REAL game IS working with the puppet strings and puppet masters of our government.

Charade and theatre are mandatory when Government is this big.

Romney isn’t a republican, he just plays one on TV.

Romney will be just like Obama if he gets elected. Herman Cain needs to win the nomination to save us from a Turd Sandwich vs. Giant Douche scenario.

I agree, conservatives need to boycott Warren Buffett-lead companies as much as possible. Make your voice heard with your wallet.

And the fact Buffett’s favorite candidate is Romney tells you Romney would continue the crony-capitalism that Buffett so desires.

That pic is the truth.

Oughta be made into a larger bumper sticker and plastered all over the site of the GOP convention or debates.
