Obama: GOP lawmakers will pay for blocking jobs bill
The Washington Times ^ | November 14, 2011 | Dave Boyer

Americans “aren’t feeling real good” about Republicans in Congress who have blocked his $447 billion jobs bill, President Obama said late Sunday night.

“The American people, at this point, are wondering about congressional leadership in failing to pass the jobs bill — the components of which the majority of Americans, including many Republicans — think are a good idea,” Mr. Obama said at a news conference in Hawaii at the conclusion of a Pacific summit.

He said Republican lawmakers are likely to pay a price at the polls next November for standing in the way of his proposals, which include new spending on construction projects, expansion of a temporary payroll tax cut and extended unemployment benefits. He said the impasse was less a reflection on his leadership than on GOP lawmakers, whose approval ratings have dropped precipitously.

How much will they pay? I’ll get my checkbook out right now if it will help block the no-jobs bill.

Baloney. What the American people don't want is more of the same failure you have given them Barry. Your "new" jobs bill represents exactly that.

More spending...more croneyism, more corruption, more negative impact on the economy.

You see, Barry, most people have figured you out (the ones who are productive and not drinking your "free" kool-aid in terms of class warfare and entitlements), and they know you are destroying the American economy and the American way of life...and they do not like it.

We'll see who pays come 2012.

Repubs blocking Obaba’s new huge tax (”jobs”) bill?
Dems too btw.

Obaba calling his tax bill as jobs bill is typical of him.

If Obaba says it is sunny out, check first yourself.

With Obaba and his Dems, assume any statement is a lie until proven otherwise.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see about that.

He thinks every single one of us is either blindly partisan in support of him or simple-minded booger eating morons. He truly does.

what’s FUBO is the GOP has passed 15 “jobs creating” bills in the congress that are presently sitting on harry reid’s desk waiting for a vote yet they only occasionally comment on them...

if the GOP is smart (which they’re not) and want to stop fighting like little girls (which they won’t) they’d mock reid for not bring these bills to the floor for a vote and tell obama he’s going to be held responsible if reid continues to sit around and “do nothing”...

It seems that Republicans need to do a better job making the case why these proposals are bad for voters.

Obama obviously decided long ago (last year) to use the election loss as a tool to paint the congress as Republican controlled.

“He thinks every single one of us is either blindly partisan in support of him or simple-minded booger eating morons. He truly does.”
LOL!

But it IS true. Here’s why: It is simply a projection of what a Narcissist thinks about themselves.
- blind partisan = ME, the skittle-poopin unicorn
- booger eater = ME, what I really think I am, the me that I loathe, the me I must hide

Mental illness is also characterized by ‘black and white thinking’; everything’s either/or, evil/good...no “greys” (not referring to moral equivalence and relativity: some things actually ARE clearly “this or that” while many things are not)

PS
Notice this applies to liberals in general, as well as the joker...luvs me some jeff head!

Republicans are disorganized, have no leader and cannot articulate a coherent message. Other than that, they are in great shape.

RE :"Republicans are disorganized, have no leader and cannot articulate a coherent message. Other than that, they are in great shape"

Yes, I pointed out this problem during the debt limit deal. They dont trust Boehner or McConnell, but Obama as POTUS manages to pull most Democrats together which allows him to bluff.

Republicans need a conservative leader who is a good spokesman to articulate things WHO THEY TRUST.

In 2007 Pelosi made sure that looked like GWB was running the show, so she could demonize everything for it with congress low approval numbers, and voters thought Bush still controlled congress . Many Republicans thought Bush was 'winning' on the issues, till 2008 election. In this case Obama wants to make it look like Republicans are running the show, so he can demonize them and paint them as the 5% opproval rating.

Obama: GOP lawmakers will pay for blocking jobs bill

At least they'll be paying for their own vacations.

And, oh by the way, what about the thousands of pipeline jobs you killed this weekend?

How about telling the American people that the “jobs bill” overthrows our present form of government for a dictatorship. Section 376 strips states of their sovereignty for accepting “federal” (i.e. MINE)funds.
