Couldn’t agree more...Second Mile’s president, a 28-year veteran of the organization, resigned today. I guess he’s going to join the chorus of those who “didn’t know” that Jerry Sandusky was a serial child rapist.
Where have we heard this defense before? Most famously, in Nazi Germany, where almost everyone claimed ignorance regarding the concentration camps and the systematic murder of six million Jews.
And the headlines are designed to obfuscate reality.

I keep thinking that there has to be records of sorts. Either on a computer or in a locked drawer. Names and names listed in them... of course, they could have been destroyed when Sandusky got out.

I think it was Rush who said a local ice cream shop had served a “Sandusky Special” for years! It was 2 scoops of ice cream on the bottom, with an upside-down cone on it, and a cherry on top, if I heard correctly. You get the image. If that is TRUE...it means the whole community was in on it!
Now that columnist at the San Francisco Examiner is going to say you eat worms and say naughty words.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of confidence regarding the investigation. Knowing that the judge was a volunteer didn’t help with my suspicion. If what the one investigative reporter stated was that this entire scandal involved a ring to “hand out” children to others... makes me wonder how many influential people are working to eliminate any sort of records/trace. Money and power talks...
There is hardly a professional of any stripe working in State College that hasn’t had some dealings with the university. Lawyers, teachers, architects — what-have-you. It’s going to be extra tough in this case to prevent the appearance of conflicts of interest.
I wonder how many of the faculty and staff are members of NAMBLA

Why has McQueary seemingly gotten off almost scott free so far. He is as scummy as Sandusky. He should have walked into that shower, grabbed that child by the arm, and led him to a safe place where he could dress. He should have told Sandusky to go home and blow his brains out, because he was taking the child to the police, and then to the hospital for a medical exam. What a coward. His primary impetus was to be promoted from graduate assistant coach to assistant coach. He had to run what he saw by Paterno first. He got what he bargained for by keeping his mouth shut for years. He is as guilty as Sandusky and just as perverted.
