Penn State sex abuse scandal could very well widen

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Long after the game had ended, after the members of the marching band had latched their instrument cases, after the stadium lights dimmed, after the fans departed and the sun set upon their slow exit caravan, the last, thinning remnant of a daylong pilgrimage still queued up at the statue of Joe Paterno.

They waited their turns outside the east stands of Beaver Stadium and then handed their cameras and cell phones to the next ones in line to authenticate their presence on a day that carries an indelible time stamp: The First Game After Paterno.

It will widen (to at least 1000 other campuses which insisted upon carte blanche acceptance of “alternate lifestyles”)

This will bankrupt Pennsylvania, perhaps in time for the 2012 elections. Bye-bye, Dems.

Second Mile is a front group for sexual perversion, hiding under the guise of a non-profit. It too needs to be investigated.

Couldn’t agree more...Second Mile’s president, a 28-year veteran of the organization, resigned today. I guess he’s going to join the chorus of those who “didn’t know” that Jerry Sandusky was a serial child rapist.

Where have we heard this defense before? Most famously, in Nazi Germany, where almost everyone claimed ignorance regarding the concentration camps and the systematic murder of six million Jews.

And the headlines are designed to obfuscate reality.

It was HOMOSEXUAL, man-on child sex.

Pederasty.

Please correct this misconception around the water-coolers, in the nets...we cannot, CANNOT let homosexual predator enablers bury THIS elephant.

HOMOSEXUAL.

I keep thinking that there has to be records of sorts. Either on a computer or in a locked drawer. Names and names listed in them... of course, they could have been destroyed when Sandusky got out.

Homosexuality, pedophilia, alternate lifestyle? It’s all the same: Sexual perversion.

I think it was Rush who said a local ice cream shop had served a “Sandusky Special” for years! It was 2 scoops of ice cream on the bottom, with an upside-down cone on it, and a cherry on top, if I heard correctly. You get the image. If that is TRUE...it means the whole community was in on it!

Sandusky almost certainly had all the computers in his household seized by police. Probably The Second Mile will have certain records subpoenaed.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of confidence regarding the investigation. Knowing that the judge was a volunteer didn’t help with my suspicion. If what the one investigative reporter stated was that this entire scandal involved a ring to “hand out” children to others... makes me wonder how many influential people are working to eliminate any sort of records/trace. Money and power talks...

There is hardly a professional of any stripe working in State College that hasn’t had some dealings with the university. Lawyers, teachers, architects — what-have-you. It’s going to be extra tough in this case to prevent the appearance of conflicts of interest.

Why has McQueary seemingly gotten off almost scott free so far. He is as scummy as Sandusky. He should have walked into that shower, grabbed that child by the arm, and led him to a safe place where he could dress. He should have told Sandusky to go home and blow his brains out, because he was taking the child to the police, and then to the hospital for a medical exam. What a coward. His primary impetus was to be promoted from graduate assistant coach to assistant coach. He had to run what he saw by Paterno first. He got what he bargained for by keeping his mouth shut for years. He is as guilty as Sandusky and just as perverted.

Well not only McQueary but the AD as well. Neither has been fired. (The AD put himself on leave of absence)

The answer in both cases is likely that one or both are key state's witnesses in cases vs. Schultz & Sandusky (and McQueary also in Curley's case). They could have charges vs. Spanier...and I don't 100% rule out Paterno, tho I highly doubt it.

My guess is that they will would try Curley last...offering him a deal to testify vs. Schultz & perhaps Spanier, if they charge Spanier.

The whistleblower law probably keeps Penn State from firing McQueary...tho everybody knows the new coach has a right to set his entire asst coaching staff.

So McQueary will probably draw checks until the new coach is announced.

Predatory Sodomite University

And it's far from the only one.

The only "mistake" Sandusky made was dipping into the pool of nubile young flesh a bit too early.

If he just contained himself, and continued the grooming to age 18, he could be just like thousands of other coaches and profs who are waiting for your precious son or daughter to arrive as freshmen every September.

Predators, but with a wee modicum of caution. Unlike Sandusky, who violated the code.

Thou Shalt Not Seduce And Rape Before They Are Legal.

I will be surprised if justice is done beyond Sandusky. The crooked judges will have a hard time letting him off given the media attention. However, the media’s attention will not necessarily follow the trial, as there are connected pervert liberals involved.

There are a lot of people who looked away and let Sandusky continue on his merry way.

I have a feeling the elite of this country are not seeing a lot wrong with grooming and hitting on kids. They are doing it in schools and in entertainment. It used to be taboo to feature a boy or a girl in a sexy way or for an adult to talk dirty to them. Now they permit public school perverts to talk trash to them in school in the name of “comprehensive sex education” and arrange homosexual/straight student clubs and homosexual rah rah activities.

Child on child rape is going up, too. If I had small kids right now, I would be freaked out beyond belief seeing what’s happened these days. I read that an Iowa judge ordered that sex offenders be put in assisted living and nursing care facilities. They are raping the old women and I would bet the men are not safe either but the rape of men was not mentioned in the article.

Our elite are dark souls as they look the other way to all this. Political correctness is ravishing.

As soon as the other players are exposed in the child sex ring, it will be shut down because government officials are probably involved. Just my opinion.

Why do you think he got bail? IMHO to roll up his homosexual networks and destroy as much evidence as possible.

They waited their turns outside the east stands of Beaver Stadium and then handed their cameras and cell phones to the next ones in line to authenticate their presence on a day that carries an indelible time stamp: The First Game After Paterno.

Most of them cheered and mugged for the cameras and mimicked the upraised index finger of the bronze Paterno.

I honestly don't understand this. Are they saying they think the man is innocent, or are they saying they don't care that he is guilty of child rape as long as he leads their sports teams?

Sometimes human behavior baffles me.

Sandusky had something like 3 years to get rid of any evidence.

He knew this was coming for a long time.

Getting bailed quickly was possibly to his detriment. (we shall see...)

And from what I’ve read...his home was never searched...

Ahh - PSU’er here 89-94...that is an on-campus ice cream shop. But sorry to say - the suggestion that the “whole community was in on it” is a bit of a stretch...I always ordered Mint Chip...It was there when I arrived...It was there when I left.

Sorry - despite his seeming fame - I think more than half the current student body wouldn’t have a clue who “Jerry Sandusky” is or was...if you asked before last week.

I’ve read nothing of the sort happened (seizing Sandusky household computers)...

Clarification needed: your read it definitely did not happen? Or you haven't heard that it happened?

The reason I'm asking is that when a felony arrest is made that it is standard operating practice for the police to grab the computers to look for evidence.

A friend of mine got caught up in a RICO investigation in California. He wasn't even arrested but the LA District Attorney had his computers grabbed at least twice. Turned out to be a "fishing expedition."

I wouldn't be surprised if such a report didn't make the papers. They usually grab them at the same time of the official arrest/perp walk to prevent potential destruction of evidence.
