The logic of your argument is highly suspect. It is, just in case you don't know, remarkably similar to the demands the Brits made on the French settlers in Acadia ~ to wit, swear allegiance to the King of England or else.

Since their colony, Acadia, had been a joint French/Scottish operation, and they were already in allegiance to the King of England, many groused about needing to swear allegiance TWICE, not just ONCE like all other subjects.

They got shipped out forthwith.

So, what I'm saying is this ~ if you are going to make demands like the King of England be prepared to be met with complaints about how silly your demands are.

If you think I'm going to read a 5 paragraph screed taking me to task for posting this thread, you're mistaken.

My belief that defeating Romney is paramount is based on 6 years of careful thought on the subject and conversation with other intelligent conservatives, including many right here on FR. I and many others have decided that Romney is toxic and far from actually advancing conservative ideals, he would be hostile to them if actually elected. While we expect such things from Democrats and can rally Republicans to opposition, a Republican who is hostile to conservative values as president would be an absolute disaster. Who would we rally to defeat such a president?

If you want to waste your vote on a liberal with an (R) after his name, be my guest. I'm done being played for a fool.

You clearly don’t have the intelligence to know a stupid post from an intelligent one. When you grow up and have something intelligent to say, get back to me.

You attack the idea of a five paragraph post because all five paragraphs built a strong argument against the stupidity of your position. If Obama gets four more years and destroys this nation because you played the spoiled baby and refused to vote for Mitt Romney as the GOP nominee, history will record that you and others like you were the useful idiots that gave Obama another term.

No, I ignore the five paragraphs because all of your points have been destroyed time and again on FR. Indeed, following your strategy has gotten us to the point we are at right now with an outright socialist running the country.

I am done voting for liberals who claim to be Republicans out fear, loyalty, intimidation, name-calling or any other reason. You want Romney? You vote for him.

Thx for the ping, but barring a third party candidate of conservative caliber, I will be sitting this one out.

The President thanks you for your support.

I'd take Romney over the Kenyan Socialist Godless Liberal anyday. People who distrust his Mormonism should remember we were founded by Masons.

I'd vote for a Mormon without any problem.

I won't vote for a lying liberal pretending to be a conservative in hopes he can "moderate" the Republican party.
