I don’t know what the assistant coach witnessed. I know the following:
1. At some point Sandusky was reported to authorities and the DA declined to prosecute him in 1998.
2. A grand jury just indicted Sandusky on multiple charges.
3. The grand jury report says a PSU then graduate assistant testified he witnessed Sandusky and a kid in the shower of the PSU locker room.
4. No witness including the then graduate assistant has been cross examined by the defense yet.
So excuse me if I do not participate in the witch burning.
Did you not hear what Sandusky said to Bob Costas two hours ago on NBC? You defend that?
I understand the reports indicate the Grand Jury presentation only included some 8 victims of at least 40 reported victims.
This possibly represents a minority of actual victims as most are likely not wanting to be reminded of any of it.
Ignoring his past behavior doesn’t even begin to touch upon a litany of other interests which have been encroached by those actions. Discussing the vile nature of criminality and its deserved justice is not unrighteous.
You’ll be “put to the question,” too, don’t worry.
Actually you know one other thing: None of the principals involved has ever backed up McQueary’s story that he told them of a rape.
I have no doubt that he will have a defense and a vigorous one. Even the likes of John Wayne Gasey, Anthony Sowell & Jeffrey J. Marsalis had strong legal representation and they had NO MONEY. Regardless of the heinous crime there is always an advocate. That is our system.
The court must see the accused as innocent until proved guilty. I as a private citizen not subject to the rules of the court in PA am free to form and express my own opinion. To not think that it is likely that this man is a child rapist makes no sense what so ever. .
Fixed it for ya.
And they touch their legs 'without sexual intent' (Sandusky's own words)
But you are going to remain above it all, not making any decisions about his guilt.
My,my, how objective you are!
