That’s a lie and you know it. I can Google him saying Texas has a better answer than fences.
Do you also deny he supports tax payers funding the education of illegal immegrant kids? Didn’t he call a lot of us “heartless” for disagreeing with him.

You are misinformed....the taxpayers of Texas DO NOT PAY for their education. The Law passed by the TX Legislature had only 4 no votes and was ‘veto-proof’.
The Law gives in-state tuition (meaning they pay for it themselves) to those who have graduated from TX high schools and meet the resident requirement.
It is NOT FREE!
Thank you CW for your diligence in sharing these articles with us. I’ve learned so much about Gov. Perry because of them. I went to the link “The day after Pete was killed” and was touched by Perry’s compassion to the man whose son had been killed in Iraq.
It’s obvious that Perry is a decent man of good character, it’s so disturbing to read the names and mockeries that some fellow FReepers smear him with on this site. I support Gov. Perry because I believe he is the best qualified candidate running - but I still respect the other candidates. I will vote for whoever ends up running against Obama (with the possible exception of Romney) - that should be our over-riding goal, and these hate-filled smears and outright lies (time after time, even after being corrected by the facts) are disheartening.
Rick Perry is a good man.
Bump!
If what you say is true, then why did Perry say those who believe paying illegal alien kid’s tuition is bad are “heartless”.
Sorry. Nice try. Don’t bother me again, please.
