The National Lawyers Guild says it has obtained a court that allows Occupy Wall St. protesters to return with tents to a New York City park.

The guild says the injunction prevents the city from enforcing park rules on Occupy Wall Street protesters.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg says the city knew about the court order but has not seen it. He says the city plans to go court immediately.

Agree

fyi, Trevor Loudon on GBTV Tonight

As you know, Trevor has broken many of the stories on our Progressive leaders here in the states. Van Jones and Leon Panetta are just two of those. He has written an incredible book on Barack Obama and his ties which is the first in a series of books to come. Barack Obama and the Enemies Within is a stunning compilation of Trevor’s research and blog postings. If you ever wanted to know the ties that bind Obama, the Progressives, the Marxists and the radicals, this book is a must.

Best thing one can do is ignore them and they will grow weary. The only ones that will remain are those that have nowhere else to go and those that show up to watch the spectacle.

The National Guard would be the next step but that would be their Kent State moment. I do think canines should be employed for the unruly ones.

...if this was the Tea Party, the protesters would all be in jail and this group wouldn’t be saying a word.

Just another day in Obamaland. :(

“I have yet to have someone explain the benefit to society of having these people camp out in a park, rape, assault and steal from each other, and wallow in their own filth.”

IN THEIR MINDS (let me be clear on that) the benefit is to the society of their imaginations, and consists of the damage done to the bank accounts of, or the shutdown of all those capitalists operating in the vicinity of that park.

Actually the benefit of the entire OWS exercise is the appearance, THE APPEARANCE of a LARGE Leftist movement that is in actuality nowhere near the value they portray it to be, but with the media, and the dispersal to key locations around the Nation, and the noise, and mayhem reported by their media sycophants they can make it appear the American people are behind them for their type of change.

NOT unlike the old trick of say three Leftist’s at a Townhall meeting strategically dispersed throughout the crowd in attendance to agitate, and give the appearance that all, or most of the attendee’s of the meeting want what the three agitators specifically demand.

Protestors do NOT have the right to infringe on the rights of others....per that neighborhood, the people who live there, businesses, etc.

I heard on the news this morning that, frustrated with no action on getting rid of the looters by the city, a “mob” of local business owners went down and held a protest in front of City Hall.

Do you remember the French police who stood around all summer in what was it... 07(?) and watched as the asian utes burned thousands and thousands of cars, night after night, for months? Do you expect more of US American politicans?

You know... If it weren’t such a hazardous situation in regards to the safety of residents in the area I’d just as soon let them stay, in the cold, to die of illness or exposure. The fact that infections could be spread among the general public though - it becomes a problem to just “leave them be”.

There have already been outbreaks of serious contagions reported — like Drug-Resistant TB in Atlanta, or “Zuccotti Lung” there in NYC (I don’t know the official name of the agent responsible for the Zuccotti Lung outbreak). Also body and head lice are an ongoing problems - most likely the same for fleas from the rats...

With lice and fleas you start getting exposure to serious things like Typhus Fever, Relapsing Fever, Trench Fever, Plague, Tularemia, Parasitic Tapeworms, and the like.

I definitely would not be surprised if this lasts much longer for there to be a Typhoid Fever outbreak in one or more of these camps before much longer...

IF these folks take up residence again, and they all fall sick and some of them die, are they going to hold the city/Park Owners responsible? Will they then sue them for LETTING them stay if this lawsuit is found in their favor?

“Conservative folks fed up with the bank bailouts”??? You’re kidding right? In all of the interviews I’ve seen I’ve not heard ONE “Conservative” among them. Change your statement to liberals who want Communism and you’d be much closer to the truth. These are Radical Marxists, Trotsky-ites, Socialists and Communists - mostly affluent college-age idealists backed by their predecessors who are definitely part of the 1% they claim to be against. Anyone calling for the government to increase regulations on the banking industry, and agreeing with these people’s calls for Free Education, Forgiveness of Student and Housing loans, and raising taxes on the rich to finance more social justice programs have no right referring to themselves as “Conservatives”.

Do you have any links/proof that besides the anarchists & criminals the folks are conservative? (Not referring to the Conservatives who go to heckle, interview, or discuss, but honest-to-goodness “occupiers”...)

No I’m not kidding. here is one example. there’s plenty of nutcases on this tape, but listen to the folks at:

3:00
9:21
12:00
13:12

They’re agreeing with Peter Schiff on several items.

Further, what does it matter? The first amendment was written for everyone, not just those that you agree with. Lots of these folks are wrong, but that does not take away from their right to go out and prove what idiots they are.

If these were existing park rules the court ruling makes little sense.

If these were new park rules created to address OWS, an OWS-sympathetic court might find wiggle room for this order.

Fortunately other cities, like Dallas, are having better luck in court against their Occupy mobs.

THose idiots are too dumb to know any better than to use a grill or kerosene heater inside their tents all zipped up. I expect we will be seeing a few carbon monoxide deaths in the coming weeks.

I suspect something has come down on high, but me thinks there will be war on the streets before the let them camp out there again. locals made it clear the meeting the other night that action had better be taken or else. Bloomy took said action less that 36 hours later.
Also, I think the nyc officials felt lower manhattan was devolving into anarchy, and they needed to take control on the matter.

Also, word I have on the street (from this side of the blue line) is that Ray Kelly & Co. are prepared to deal with the planned insurrection of the human refuge. Wish them luck.

When I was at University of Texas, the f-ing leninists had built a shanty town on the free speech area in front of the Union. I don’t even remember what it was about, apartheid? I dunno. Anyway, it was a big deal for a few weeks, then the occupiers drifted away, though they tried to keep somebody there to “occupy” it, sort of like a filibuster. Occasionally the administration would come and take the shanties away, but then they’d get built up again. For all I know they could still be there.
