oh I’ve seen alot of it online....making fun of “breeders” and “broodsows”
Accusing people with more than one child of destroying the earth.

What a fun bunch.

I remember when I received a call from an academic type asking me I had not enrolled for the semester in her department, I informed her I was delaying my plans as I had found out I was pregnant.
her reply?

“oh....I’m so sorry to hear that”

LOL!

married21,that was a very insightful post. I’ve been a stay at home mom for 22 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have 5 kids, ages 22 down to 12. I stay EXTREMELY busy, I very rarely sit down. I get up at 2:30 a.m. and fall into bed around 8:30 p.m. and I’m running the entire time. You’d be surprised how much you can get done that early in the morning. I’m finally at a point that I’m tired of cooking and cleaning and am thinking about how it would be to work outside the home but I just can’t right now. My at home kids still have school activities, dr appts, dental appts, orthodontist appts, etc. I’m afraid that by the time I can work outside the home it will be time to take care of my elderly parents but that’s ok. I’m still happy with my lot in life, for the most part. I do have some challenges but they don’t have anything to do with being a stay at home mom.

“What could be more important, more fulfilling or more rewarding than helping your own children grow up to be moral, loving, productive members of society?

Why bother having kids if you are going to fob them off on someone else to raise?

I’ll never for a minute regret the years I spent raising our family. I think liberated women have their priorities all wrong.”

Well put and amen!

For example, one of the biggest left-wing websites (Daily Kos) wrote that "Dennis Prager advocates marital rape." Why? Because I wrote a column in which I suggested that if a woman loves her husband, and if he is a loving and good man, she might not want to be guided solely by "mood" in deciding whether and when to have sex with him.

I went and read the Prager column , followed by the Kos column

Oh. My. God.

A simple statement to the effect of "Ladies, why not make your husbands happy by having sex with him even if you happen to not be in the mood" turns into shrieks of "Rape!".
