WOW, JUST WOW! I know this was a repost, but I wanted to raise everyone's awareness that this story almost solidifies what I found AND concurs that there was indeed a Romney/Christie conncection.

I was speculating before about her possibly working for Brad Brewster, but this article virtually confirms it.

And she doesn't want to come out right now? And I'm pretty sure I know why. Larry Forth, the guy I believe she worked for, left in April 1998 and she wanted that promotion, but was denied it due to what was describes as "poor job performance".

You can see it again here if you haven't already.

Good thing Cain’s team made sure to blame Perry for it.

Yes, ignore that Perry’s pollster Wilson was all over the radio running his mouth the day this story broke.

Notice this story, feverishly reported last week, was dropped faster the a pair of dirty shorts this week now that Cain's poll number are dropping.

The Fourth Estate could at least pretend to be a legitimate profession.

Great work. That was great thinking about the resume. Thanks for the effort!

Good catch!

this lady won’t come out of the woodwork unless or until Cain has the nomination, then team Obama - assuming the cretin hasn’t resigned or bowed out of the election by then, will force her out into the open.

So exactly how does this exonerate Cain? It doesn’t.

there’s a differing motive. In this case, the woman didn’t get the promotion she wanted, so she cried harrassment.

It's bait for the crowd who four years ago explained every event with the expression "Huckabee is Romney's stalking horse".

You bit.

If I am reading it right, it is as follows:

in 1998 a woman accused Cain of inviting her to his hotel room after an association event. She got $35,000.00 and agreed to leave. Then...the second one to accuse, Kraushaar, left about a year later (1999-ish) and got $45,000.00.

This seems so odd to me that such an intelligent man, circa the time of the Lewinsky stuff and hyper attention to women making accusations, and even after ONE settlement for some accusation, whatever it was, would then do a SECOND thing that would be actionable. He would have to be oblivious to do these behaviors with women that shared the work environment. It just somehow doesn’t make sense.

More likely seems that women at that particular time were both hypersensitive to being “offended” or “wronged” because the general awareness was so high, and/or they saw that there was money to be made. Otherwise I don’t see how a man so obtuse to the social milieu would have been able to advance to the positions he was in.
