Republican primary voters tend to be more conservative than Republicans as a whole and are certainly more conservative than general election voters.
"He was standing with Nancy Pelosi to advocate for a national sales tax on energy. That's not what we need right now in our economy. He was also the chief author of the individual health care mandate and that is what is (now) known as Obamacare. No one wants to see that either," she said, referring to conservative primary voters who oppose the president's signature legislative achievement.

I am not on her “train”, but glad she called him out.
I’d prefer her to stay where she is because that is where she is most effective.
I used to have a great deal of respect for Michelle Bachmann. I think she’s on the wrong track with this type of attack.
She might want to see Professor Jacobson’s reasons for choosing Speaker Gingrich.

I love this woman. If people were really serious about having a conservative (they are not), she would be front in the polls, get the nomination and win the Presidency. She would pick Cain for VP and Santorum for Chief of Staff and then we would be in excellent shape. But unfortunately even on FR all we hear is TALK and never reality of doing the right thing. It happens time and time again where we say, lets get rid of these RINOs and what do we do? Well we HAVE to vote for the RINO or the Dems win....Well guess what folks. NOBODY IS WINNING!!!! We are in a disaster and we STILL are chosing RINOS like Perry, Gingrich, and although not picked here (yet) Romney. It is repulsive!!!!! Get with the program and pick either Cain, Bachmann, or Santorum!!!!!!! That is it. You have no other options!!!!

Does anyone remember why Gingrich had to quit as Speaker...because he was having an affir just as Clinton was. This is not a good history.
Mr Newt is like the charming guest you invite over for the holidays. He is a great speaker, good sense of humor and very polite. Then you find that he has dragged dog crap all over your house from his shoes.
