Sam Rohrer is a great conservative and will challenge US Senator Bob Casey Jr in 2012.
He has to win the GOP primary first.
TOPICS: Government; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: casey; pennsylvania; rohrer; senate
Yes!

Now watch Gleason and the GOP leadership in Pa. scramble to find a “moderate” Republican to enter the race.

Rick Santorum should have ran for this seat instead of chasing the POTUS windmill.

Rick Santorum should have ran for this seat instead of chasing the POTUS windmill. I'd agree, but since he lost reelection in 2006 by 18%, wouldn't PA voters be in the "been-there-done-that" zone for Santorum? Is Casey that unpopular that he's vulnerable?

I vote in Pennsylvania. I hope that Cain, Bachmann or Santorum are the candidate for President so that I can vote for this guy. I cannot vote for Newt, Romney, Perry, or Paul for President. It will be up to FREEPERS to ensure a conservative get the presidential nod so this guy has a chance.

I heard they’ve already recruited Tim Burns, the loser in the 2010 race against Murtha’s successor in PA-12.

Were it up to me, those damnable straight-line levers would be eliminated. If you can't determine who to vote for you shouldn't be allowed to vote!
Sam has a site here:
and has an Email sign-up for further on-going info.
He will get my vote, and some cash too.

Brit is right.
If you don't like the presidential nominees you can just skip the category.
In fact, you don't even have the option of hitting a party line button in a primary race.
And by the time the Pa. Primary comes around the odds are very high the nominee will have been decided.
I cannot remember an election in which that was not the case.
So no excuse not to vote for Sam.
