A new victim is claiming another member of the Penn State faculty sexually abused him years ago, and he said when he brought his abuse complaints to university officials, he was turned away. --snip-- Neisworth was later charged with multiple counts of child sexual abuse in Cecil County, Md., in 2005. However, McLaughlin claimed that at the time, Penn State officials said an indictment wasn't enough to investigate one of their faculty members.

What else should we expect from our liberal progressive pervert infested godless government run indoctrination centers?
Penn State had an excellent reputation. Had.
disgusting. makes me ill.
He complained in the 2000’s about conduct that allegedly happened in the 1970’s and the prof is now retired. I’m not defending Penn State, but this case is very different from Sandusky’s.
Pedophile State.
Stick a fork in 'em.
They're done.
He was, of course, found to have done nothing wrong..........
I'm thinking the media won't bring that up either.
Now, one alleged victim of child sex abuse is speaking publicly about what he calls a culture of secrecy at Penn State. When he first heard the allegations in the 40-count indictment of Sandusky, I was enraged, very upset, Paul McLaughlin said. The 45-year-old Arizona man said he was abused by a former Penn State professor and then ignored by university officials. McLaughlin said it wasnt the first time that former Penn State President Graham Spanier ignored a report of possible child sex abuse. McLaughlin said he also brought forward concerns about abuse unrelated to Sandusky, but instead about a special-education professor, who McLaughlin accused of abusing him when he was a boy in New Jersey. In a civil lawsuit that McLaughlin later filed and then settled in the state of New Jersey, he details allegations of abuse by John T. Neisworth and a California man, Carl Geoke. McLaughlin went to the dean of education, David Monk, and to then-president Spanier in early 2002. Both men, he said, brushed him off. Spanier, Monk, Neisworth, Penn State in-house counsel Cynthia Baldwin and spokesman Bill Mahon could not be reached for this story. Documents obtained by The Patriot-News support McLaughlins story. I have a tape where [Neisworth] admits the things hed done, McLaughlin said. [Spanier] treated it like an extortion attempt. I told him my concern was solely to get him away from children.
We are...
Ped State....
The NCAA guys have to really fumbling around with this. Who really wants to invite Penn State to a bowl game this year? You end up with a bunch of locals who will question the idea and if they should have been looking for a cleaner situation.
But it has been a sham for over a decade.
"My time at Penn State was great regarding my classes, but not as happy regarding the football program. I was a sincere graduate student. The program projected an academics-first image, yet demanded players and grad students prioritize football 24/7. Paterno was a bully and control freak. He picked on the staff members and banished gifted players who did not buy into his persona. He seemed a master spin doctor whose image shed a far greater shadow than his actual character. The parallels between Paternos kingdom, the power and control he wielded over his minions and the very lax and deceptive response he made in 2002 to allegations that his prized assistant had been seen sodomizing a child in the showers, and the Catholic Churchs power, control and deceit in covering up its massive sexual abuse scandal are striking, yet not surprising to me. I worked on the other side of the ball from Jerry Sandusky, but found him very talented with kids, albeit a bit more grabby and touchy with the many young boys surrounding him and his nonprofit program, The Second Mile. It appeared he had boundary issues. Memories of this now make my stomach queasy. I never observed Sandusky committing sexual misconduct during my year and a half at Penn State. In addition to power and control dynamics among the staff and Paternos powerful presence in the community, a crazy tradition at Penn State was the coaches showered together after each practice and game. We never did this at Brown or at the University of Rhode Island, and my coaching friends never experienced this on their staffs. After a few practices, I decided to shower at home. It was one of the many things at Penn State that made me realize there was something strange about the program and its staff."
The only difference is that it happened earlier. This stuff was never spoken about from young boys or even men back then.
The difference is that now boys can speak about this more readily as it is more in the news so they can sort of leave more direct hints. It is difficult for any of these kids or even men to come straight out with this vile treatment. Humiliating.
These boys and men would eventually have come forward.
There is NO difference except time.
Pennetration State.
just EWWWWW!
Damn, it’s a gay pedophile homeland. With protection and everything. Nice place for them to pursue their hobbies.
But Rene Portland is gone. Go figger.
Penn State. They offer a Major in minors.
Pedo State University
Neisworth is a nationally acclaimed voice on child development and has been nationally recognized for his work with autistic children. He penned the book, "The Autism Encyclopedia."
(My bold) the logo would be a stiff, single penne. (pasta of course.) The mascot would be the same. Clever call--dead.
I agree. Time is the issue.
LOL!
The amount of children this man has hurt I am sure is astounding. Autistic children do not like being touched either. It is painful for them. I hope all these men get loads of prison time if you know what I mean.
Since we became civilized and politically correct, older men buggering young boys is not only approved. It is looked on by their supporters as a badge of honor, hell, the voters [I won’t insult people] of Mass. elected Barney Frank, probably with fullknowledge of his hobby the first and certainly by the second term,to Congress and return him every two years.
Very sad for the innocent students in addition to the abused. Those that play football there too are (whether they were or not) going to be looked at as if they were molested when they were not. What an embarrassing and shameful stain this leaves on all the students--graduated or not.
Sir (and to all),
As a poet, you would understand the use of...just the right word, yes?
You see, “pedophile” obscures the homosexual nature of this abomination.
I imagine PEDERAST is hard to rhyme and all, I do!...yet, is it not more...to the point?
Indeed good sir,
might I suggest a poem...perhaps for your wonderfully imagining heart, a poem that reveals the sick relief many
o so many!
will feel...
should a FEMALE victim be revealed?
Thank you kind sir,
for enduring,
my repetitive rant.
Your FRiend,
spank
Yeah, just like Duke down this region.
What?
Neisworth' status when complaints brought forth: Retired from Penn State
Sandusky's status when overwhelming bulk of complaints brought forth (all but the '98 couple of cases): Retired from Penn State (he was retired by June 1999)
Question #1: Why did you even mention "the prof is now retired" if that is NO DIFFERENT in most of the Sandusky charges?
Question #2: How is the retirement status -- which is the same for most of these cases -- something that "is very different from Sandusky's"???
Wanna make a retraction?
He complained in the 2000s about conduct that allegedly happened in the 1970s...
Let's get more specific (& more laser-like here):
"the 2000's" could be 2009 for all anybody knows reading your comments. But it was 2001 when he first confronted Neisworth and 2002 when he notified Penn State's admins.
"the 1970s" could be 1970-1971 for all anybody knows reading your comments. But it was "the late 1970s into the early 1980s"...so 1980...1981...and perhaps 1982, then?
There...what you on the surface presented that could be as far apart as 39 years...
...suddenly gets telescoped to its reality of perhaps only 19-20-21 years [complaint 2001; Penn State notification 2002; abuse as late 1981-1982]
Way to knock off a couple of decades in your lame attempt to say "this case is very different from Sandusky's.
When you look @ the Grand Jury presentment, it mentions "victim #7" (p. 20) meeting Sandusky in 1994. This victim says because he always moved away from Sandusky, the coach was never able to do more than put his hand on his thigh and down his waistpants (not at genital area). The presentment doesn't say what year this occurred...but if this occurred in 1994 and it came out in 2010 or 2011 that's a span of 16-17 years between the acts and the complaints.
Question #3: Tell us, 'Tanker...what's "very different" 'tween...
...a Sandusky complaint brought 16-17 years after the fact...
...vs. a Neisworth complaint brought 19-20-21 years after the fact?
Talk about inadvertently defending Penn State despite your claim "I'm not defending Penn State." You need to retract the whole ball of wax.
Where is the NCAA right NOW??? Their silence is deafening.
Sick...and yet so
They are the kNITkINseY LIONizerS...fans of when Kinsey was facilitating sexual child abuse of infants and toddlers and yet another Big 10 school...Indiana U...which few in our culture seem to care about.
Alas, Penn State was up to its old competitive ways...simply trying to outKinsey the Hoosiers, which was the original Perv State.
ALL: see
* How Alfred C. Kinseys Sex Studies Have Harmed Women and Children [Big 10 harbors perp culture]
* See also: The Children of Table 34 DVD
Penn State's athletic program and their admins utterly "flunked" their bar exam. They did not lionize honesty and responsibility, as NCAA bylaws specifically call for; instead some chose to "lionize" the spirit of Alfred Kinsey, who facilitated significant child sexual abuse via the Indiana Univ. studies. You'll note how Indiana Univ. officials have covered up the child sexual abuse in Kinsey's studies for over 50 years now! Hence, the Big 10 is the pedophile conference of the world!
But, on further review, I retract.
(Well, your pct. is probably better than most officials in NFL/NCAA :) )
They were running a boy molestion ring.
Madden thinks the Penn State pervs are being investigated for running a boy rape sex ring. There are probably more staff involved in abusing boys than just these two exposed so far.
The MO of the supervisors is the same. It is showing a pattern of cover up and accomodation for boy rape pervs.
Trying to intimidate the man who was abused as a kid is one thing you don’t do unless you have no ethics and no soul.
You listen. You also LISTEN TO THE TAPE RECORDED EVIDENCE he has! You tell the person that you are heart sick if this is all true. You ask him what he wants you to do with no police report. You urge him to take his evidence to the police so they can seek to prosecute the perv. Once a police report is filed and the perv is arrested, you get the perv off campus.
See post 37.
Good. :)
