What a wonderful tale. Thank you for sharing it, and please, thank your son for his service.

May God bless and keep you all.
Tatt

Maybe you should send this over to the idiot professor at Suffolk College in MA. He thinks our soldiers are just going over there to kill other human beings. His name is Avery. He doesn’t think people should sent care packages to the soldiers.

Thank you for your service. So sorry about Dawg. I hope you have had other dogs — there are so many who need homes. God bless you.

There have been very few times in my life that one or more dogs hasn’t ruled my home. Presently there is a rescued Golden and a rescued Border Collie/Lab mix who live better than I do running around the house. I cannot imagine living without “mans” best friend.

First of all, Thank you for serving Our Great Country. I was a squid at the same time serving aboard a tender providing services and repairs to ships of the fleet. I can only imagine the conflict you endured with “Dawg”.

Moving forward to present day, I can understand how your home is “over-run” by man's best friend.

Over the years we have rescued 3 wonderful dogs - a Huskey mix, a German Shepard mix and our current Bishon Frishe which we rescued from a high-kill facility. He is a constant companion in my lap when he isn't playing with our Goldie, Bailey.

May your memories of “Dawg” never diminish.
