Cops this evening arrested an Occupy Wall Street protester for allegedly threatening to throw Molotov cocktails at Macys tomorrow during the groups city-wide demonstration.
On the 17th, we going to burn New York City to the f-cking ground, Nkrumah Tinsley, 29, shouted Tuesday amongst a crowd of his fellow demonstrators, cops said.
Tinsley was also quoted making a similar quote in todays Metro newspaper.
In a few days theyre going to see what a Molotov cocktail can do to Macys, Tinsley also allegedly vowed, according to a video posted on YouTube.
They got guns! We got bottles!
Tinsley was arrested around 5 p.m. at Zuccotti Park.
As he was hauled away, Tinsley repeatedly shouted profanities, including "F--k you guys!" at least 10 times.
About 10 of his fellow demonstrators followed him and started jeering at the officers.
You do not serve and protect us anymore, said Kanaska Carter,26. "Theyre slowing trying to deteriorate the movement, but its not going to happen, she said referring to the NYPD.
Police spokesman Paul Browne said the NYPD became concerned after seeing the video and reading the newspaper article because of the detailed nature of the threats.
There was specificity as to the date, location and method of firebombing, Browne said, adding that Tinsley also mentioned attacking the New York Stock Exchange.
That level of specificity and that level of anger raised concern for both us and the Fire Department.
This is an individual we are concerned about and we wanted to make sure we apprehended him before tomorrow, Browne said.
Tinsley was charged with making a terroristic threat.

No, someone needs to be scrubbed with a wire brush and Lye soap.
If my parents gave me an idiotic name like that, I'd probably wanna blow things up too.
is that the White Hut shooter behind him?
Wow it took them long enough to do the arrest.I would have thought they looked the other way because the President of the US sanctions this crap.Who will be the first dem too call for Obama to say immobilize to his thugs?
Excellent. It WAS clearly a terrorist threat.
This you tube needs to go viral so Good Americans cans see the reality of the Occupy Thugs:
If the MSM mediots did an honest job of reporting on the thugs of Occupy, most of the thugs would be in jail and so would their leaders.
I’m sure the liberals will say that this dude is not officially part of the Occupy Wall Street crowd.
Just as the MSM has been cleansing stories about the White House shooter, deleting the references to his having been at the Occupy DC protest.
See my reply #13.
The left MSM mediots are coconspirators re enabling these terrorists who want to kill and destroy.
I was thinking along the lines of sandblasting with salt added to the sand.
“s that the White Hut shooter behind him?”
Probably not since he was arrested Wednesday:

An Idaho man wanted in connection with a White House shooting incident was arrested Wednesday in western Pennsylvania, police and the U.S. Secret Service announced.
Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, who was detained by Pennsylvania State Police, was allegedly involved in a shooting Friday night that may be responsible for two bullets found at the White House, according to the Secret Service.
One bullet hit a window and was stopped by bulletproof glass, and another was found on the White House exterior, the Secret Service said. Both bullets were found Tuesday.
Ortega-Hernandez had stayed at the hotel with another person for a few days before the Friday shooting incident, Shields said.
When Ortega-Hernandez returned to the hotel on Wednesday, staff members recognized him from a photo provided by authorities and notified police, Shields said.
Ortega-Hernandez was arrested without any resistance in the hotel lobby, asking why he was being detained, Shields said. A bag of his was checked by sniffer dogs, but no weapons were found, according to Shields.
The suspect apparently returned to the hotel to locate what Shields called “his friend,” and Shields said the suspect’s companion was not from the area. He provided no further details of the companion’s identity or whereabouts.
At work having lunch, so I had sound turned down.
Funny, I don’t think the sound would have added anything. I could tell exactly the points he was trying to make without hearing anything at all.
Tase him, cuff him, charge him, incarcerate him.
Damn! I thought my idea was harsh!
