Barack Obama, a former smoker, urged Americans to stub out their cigarettes on the "Great American Smokeout Day," adding he knows just how hard it is to quit.

Hey Obozo! You’re nearly 23 years too late for me. I gave up cigarettes 23 years ago this coming January. And, unlike you, when I quit, I quit. I also did NOT use any stop-smoking products. I just quit - cold turkey.

I gave up smoking a few years ago on May 13, 2008. I am planning on starting again when I turn eighty. So I have that to look forward to. I hope they still make cigarettes, I really miss smoking!
Cold turkey as well!
