How to contribute to your favorite GOP candidate *VANITY*
Me | 17 Nov 2011 | Me

Posted on 11/17/2011 8:28:58 PM PST by IDontLikeToPayTaxes

Howdy folks. I think this is my first vanity since I've been lurking starting in 1997. I rarely create threads.

I wanted to create a thread, resource, and reminder for Freepers to contribute to their favorite candidates for the primary nomination.

I apologize if this post is unnecessary, but I've seen posts on Free Republic on how to get large shoes for a teenager and how to jump start a car. So I figured this thread was appropriate and germane.

TOPICS: Miscellaneous; Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: 2012; chat; donate; election; gop; vanity
Please post links to *LEGIT* sites where Freepers can learn about and DONATE to our candidates. We're all in this together, folks. Let's get it done. Thanks.

If Mitt gets in and there is no FR to hold his feet to the fire...we will be screwed.

Send your money to FR.

For those who have a lot of money, there’s no reason why they can’t give to their TWO favorite candidates.

This early, we don’t know who it will boil down to.

I was actually trying to create a LINKS FOR DUMMIES kind of thing so that Freepers could donate to candidates that might stand a chance. Nothing against your guy, of course.

Here is a candidate for you to contribute to since you seem to be lacking one. https://fredkarger.netboots.net/contribute

Lazlo in PA, thanks so much for your efforts to promote the homosexual agenda via a political candidate.

Thanks for the link to the Gay / Lesbian / Transgender crusader. From now on, whenever we need information on Lesbian / Gay /Transgender issues, we'll ask you first.

I, and the majority of Free Republic, have never even heard of this gentleman or his candidacy for President until you provided this information. You're apparently the insider, expert, and icon when it comes to homosexuality.

If any Freepers want to donate to this candidate, they are certainly welcome. Thank you!

Wow, that went over your head.

Nope, it didn't. See my first post.

This was a thread to collect information. I've seen threads over 10,000+ strong for a prayer request for a dog, tree, swapping recipes or whatever. I figured we could start one to generate some information, links, and enthusiasm for our candidates.

I guess I went over your head.

I DON’T contribute to any politicians.

I once, many years ago, sent a small check for a ballot measure. They got my name, phone number and address. That has been sold to every politician between here and China. I am sick of political season with the relentless and endless taped phone calls. I have to take time away from a customer for this crap.

I’d love to help out Herman, but won’t unless I can do it anonymously.

I think I know how you feel. When I was growing up, I can't remember seeing political signs in every other yard.

Now they're everywhere, all the time, every month of every year.

Really? I've seen FR solicitations on literally every thread, and solicitations for every other cause under the sun, for over a decade.

Full disclosure: I have contributed to FR for several years.

Nothing against your guy bold, of course.

I laughed at this vanity because I wondered who in the world would need to know how to contribute to their favorite candidate here at FR. We are generally a few steps ahead of the pack and very politically active. Then I see that you had to look up who the punch line faggot Fred Karger is. Jeez. You may be right. There may be a few folks here who may not be able to send dough to there favored candidate on there own. Who knew?

I'm active duty Army, therefore, I work for the government.

I have learned over several years of experience to never take anything for granted when it comes to people accomplishing the simplest of tasks.

The way to contribute to your prefered candidate on FR is to besmirch the character of any FReeper who does not wholeheartedly support your candidate. If you know whom they support feel free to insult that candidate, but even if you are unsure of their preference, you may posit a pick and most often present a disparaging moniker such as <candidateX>bot
