I think maybe Sponge Bob Square Pants could beat Obama.

I'd vote for Plankton.

The vetting is a good thing..distortions by MSNBC and the msm is another. I do believe the American public is aware of the left wing smear attempts. Thanks to not only Fox but conservative talk radio

"Newt...is a Winston Churchill type for our times."

Spot on, MHGinTN. Follow this link to an article in the American Spectator a few days ago that makes the same point: http://spectator.org/archives/2011/11/15/is-newt-gingrich-americas-chur

or this link on FR: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2808187/posts

Ok, as much as I’m critical of Newt, that was a really good answer.

He’s replete with good answers these days.

Newt also knows that GE’s gambit re: MSNBC State-Run Kommissar to Relect Bobo, actually works against Bobo, because MSNBC has become the nearly-unwatched clearinghouse of libtard dreck; fly paper for weakly-sourced ‘stories’ that otherwise might have gotten airtime on NBC.

And just like Winston Churchill, if Newt gets elected, I feel he will go down in history as one of the great American orators. I think one good speech and he will soar over the head of Obama, even for the usual BO supporters.

Yes, what we need is an “Occupy the Media” movement. They, along with our universities, colleges, and teachers are the real culprits.

Look at what our schools are turning out. It’s time real America stand up and hold the responsible people accountable. University professors, LEFT wing media, Unions, and even Hollywood. The real revolution would be to do something about them.....They are turning out these fools and inciting them.

***...And it’s fine. You can not ask the people of the United States to loan you the most powerful governmental job in the world, particularly in a campaign that’s promising very dramatic change, and not have them vet you carefully and thoroughly,” Gingrich said.***

No, it’s not all fine. An anti-American Kenyan-born child-man was not only given a pass for revealing NOTHING about his life, including a BC and valid SSN, but received constant praise for things he did not do and for things he doesn’t even understand. And we may never recover from the damage he and his ilk have done - largely because of a corrupt and whorish press.

Please tell it like it is, Mr. Gingrich.

Trouble is the Conservative channels and stations seem to be selling to liberal buyers, and they are also working on the Internet in Congress! Soon there will be no where to turn by this:

“I’m passing this on because it worked for me today. A Dr. on TV said
to have inner peace we should always finish things we start and we all
could use more calm in our lives.

I looked around my house to find things I’d started & hadn’t finished,
so I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle
of Baileys, a butle of wum, tha mainder of Valiuminun scriptins, an a
box a chocletz. Yu haf no idr how fablus I feel rite now.

Sned this to all who need inner piss. An telum u luvum”

For the life of me, I don’t understand why more Republicans haven’t done what Newt is doing now, and that is go after the media.

Calling out the leftist MSM at opportune times and giving them a retaliatory taste of what they should have been receiving all along (the patriotic facts instead of the MSM's democrat talking points propaganda) is a winning strategy. Thankfully Newt (and Trump before him) seems unafraid to pursue it.

It is, IMHO, a winning strategy, one that a great many Americans are freely expressing in their own homes and businesses.

places like MSNBC that are essentially the Obama re-election team

Politico as well. They feed off of each other. Politico digs up the dirt and hands it off to MSNBC for dissemination.

“Newt’s nomination is essentially assuring Obama’s reelection.”

How do you figure that? One debate and 0 would be flopping around on the stage like a fresh caught trout on a dock.

My crazy prediction is that if Newt got the nomination there would be no debates.

Amen......it’s about time. The LEFT wing media has run over conservatives long enough. They are one of the main culprits. CNN is the worse of all because they want you to think they are unbiased. At least MSNBC is pretty much admitted bias.

Watching Howard Kurtz “unbiased reliable sources” each Sunday is like watching a conservative including Fox News, hour long hit job. He’s the biggest joke of em all. And NOBODY calls that program out....maybe newsbusters does a little.
