The GOP will never get a majority vote. GW Bush sold us out completely for a short term gain at a massive long term loss. He flooded the nation with immigrants for cheap labor for his buddies, and leaving us with people who will vote Democrat for the next 50 years.

Remember 2010.

2012 will be ours (WH, House of Rep, Senate, State Houses, Governors) if we don’t shoot ourselves in the foot.

The “Hispanic vote”, like Hispanic people, are a lot more diverse than the “media” would have you believe. They are at least a vote that CAN be gained, unlike the blacks where any non-Dem is istantly marginalized/lynched by the bought-and-paid-for leadership. While blacks continue to live on handouts from the white Dem masters, some Hispanics are moving into the middle class and voting accordingly. They are also more family-oriented - Hispanic Dems in NY prevented Governor Paterson from passing “gay marriage” a few years back. Some Hispanics are permanent wards of the welfare state, while others are hard-working capitalists; they allow “diversity”, and aren’t owned by a few high-profile house slaves as the blacks are.

The most significant factor often ignored is the tension between blacks and Hispanics; they are hardly a “unified coalition of color”.

30 million illegals create nearly 50 congressional districts by their mere presence. (Census counts) We can talk a big game about shrinking government but it doesn’t mean much if we increase the numbers of democrat voters.

The fact is that the hispanic vote is no more monolithic than the white vote. There are plenty of American hispanics that will vote republican anyway and going out of our way to pander doesn’t impress them.

I don’t think that is true. I don’t know where you live but I live in Texas among Mexicans, legal and illegal.

They are mostly hardworking, family oriented people. Why would they vote democrat. Only if the Republicans hate and trash them.

The problem was 1994-6. Back then many Democrats supported actions against illegal immigration and reducing legal immigration. Sadly yhe Bushes and Newt followed the libertarians, country clubbers, and neoconservatives in helping the left.
