Mayor Rahm Emanuel is dumping all three city members of the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority including former Mayor Richard M. Daleys nephew in a housecleaning that could set the stage to renegotiate the White Sox lease, modify its restaurant deal and, possibly, have the state acquire and renovate Wrigley Field.

The move followed recent media reports detailing how the authority had allowed the White Sox to keep all income from a new restaurant at the ballpark and a retail store that is set to open on state-owned property near U.S. Cellular Field.
The lease agreement came about when James Thompson was governor, and the additions to the agreement the shop and restaurant were added when Mr. Thompson was chairman of the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority.
Gov. Pat Quinn replaced four members of the board, including Mr. Thompson, earlier this year and appointed Mr. Jones, the former president of the state Senate.

Midway used to look like a 3rd world country, O’Hare not so bad, like any other. But delays going out can effect the rest of your flights connecting; thus, one has to give themselves plenty of time in between. Now will be fewer flights, the passenger bill..the government growing bigger.
