DA: 3 Occupy Denver activists charged with felonies

Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey said Thursday that three Occupy Denver activists have been charged with felonies -- including inciting a riot and second-degree assault on an officer.

The district attorney's office announced Thursday that a 28-year-old man has been charged with two felony counts of inciting a riot and one misdemeanor count of obstruction for allegedly blocking a police car and and telling others to riot. He has two other cases pending from two different dates in October -- unlawful conduct on public property and unlawful sexual contact -- according to the press release.
Another 30-year-old man was charged with a felony count of second-degree assault on a police officer -- as well as misdemeanor charges of obstruction, resisting arrest and engaging in a riot -- from the same day. The district attorney claimed this man grabbed a law enforcement officer from behind and tried to hit him and wrestle him to the ground.
A third man, who is 26 years old, also was charged with second-degree assault of a police officer. That charge stems from an October 29 incident in which the man allegedly tried to use a stick to hit an officer who was trying to arrest him.

At this rate, these guys will become university professors in no time.
All they will get is a slap on the wrist, a reduction of the charges to less than felonies.
Don't worry, liberal arts majors do great in prison. And they'll finally be exposed to soap.
They need to go back home to mommies basement and continue playing their video games.
Right after they serve time in jail.
One of my coworkers is from Cuba (he and his family escaped during the Mariel Boatlift), and he has nothing nice to say about Castro and his ilk. A few months ago, another coworker came in wearing a Che shirt. As soon as Miguel saw it, he sat Carl down and told him the real story of "Doctor" Guevara. They sat there and talked for about 15 minutes, then Carl went back to the training room, found a t-shirt left over from a giveaway, and threw away his Che shirt.

A felony is nothing to sneer at - sexual misconduct and/or striking a police officer is not a great job application notation
Ever notice how conservatives are described as "extremists", while liberals are described as "activists?"
I’ve never read an honest account of Che Guevara in any lamestream media vehicle. None of Che’s awful crimes were ever written about or broadcast by the big media outlets. In fact, little of the economic disaster that Castro inflicted on Cuba is ever mentioned. When they talk about Cuba’s poverty, they say it’s because of the embargo we’ve put on them. As if a Marxist economy doesn’t put an economic stranglehold on every country it’s tried. Out liberal media hailed Castro and Guevara as heroes when they took over. The truth about them is too horrible for the media to admit.
Hopefully some here will keep us informed on what they get for time. If they even get time.

I live in Colorado, so will try to keep abreast of what happens to these scum and keep FR up to date.
BTW, I don’t share the pessimism regarding the judicial consequences to these scum. They’re charged with felonies, not misdemeanors, and many of these felonies are assault against law enforcement officers. Our courts still severely frown on assaulting law enforcement officers in this state. I think some of these scum will actually serve some time.
They know very well that in the future they will be well-paid Regional Commissars in the New World Order Amerika.
You'll recognize them when that time comes...they'll be in olive drab uniforms, olive drab Mao caps over a shaven face and short trim hair, clean, manicured fingernails, John Lennon spectacles.......and they'll all have loaded revolvers on the desk in front of them as they interrogate each of us for non-conformance with the State.
