My favorite Chris Matthew’s moment was on election night when Scott Brown won his Senate seat. There is Matthews, the quintessential old school, big government, union backing liberal democrat, watching the seat held by Kennedy for forever won by a Republican. As a bonus he got to watch that happen live from Jamaica Plains in a bar packed with the Rachel Maddow fan club. I’m not talking porn movie type lesbians, either. I’m talking mullet wearing, women’s basketball coaching, rugby playing lesbians.
of course, if they were stories about Herman Cain, you wouldn’t even need sources you sorry SOB. But because it’s your guy, Tingles, you’ll keep those stories quiet, won’t you?

What's really sad is that msnbc's numbers are about twice what cnn numbers are.
If cnn didn't have their international division to generate revenue, they'd have to "shut'er down".
A 30 second spot on cnn must cost at least $ 10.00 or maybe a six pack of Colt 45.

The “stories you would not believe” revolve around Ubama’s advisors considering a pause or a temporary slowdown in the administration’s agenda to turn America into a full-blown, Euro-style, socialist welfare state. Chris is gnashing his teeth because he simply cannot believe it. Chris wants full speed ahead.

I think he hinted at it and it is pretty well known now that obozo absolutely hates the mechanics of government. He loves being President and strutting around but the actual nuts and bolts stuff drives him crazy. You only have to look at his daily schedule to see it.

“I was trying to think about who he was tonight. It’s interesting: he is post-racial, by all appearances. I forgot he was black tonight for an hour. You know, he’s gone a long way to become a leader of this country, and past so much history, in just a year or two. I mean, it’s something we don’t even think about. I was watching, I said, wait a minute, he’s an African American guy in front of a bunch of other white people. And here he is president of the United States and we’ve completely forgotten that tonight — completely forgotten it.
I think it was in the scope of his discussion. It was so broad-ranging, so in tune with so many problems, of aspects, and aspects of American life that you don't think in terms of the old tribalism, the old ethnicity. It was astounding in that regard. A very subtle fact. It's so hard to talk about. Maybe I shouldn't talk about it, but I am. I thought it was profound that way."
Oh, absolutely. Make no mistake about that. Obama could get caught tag-teaming with Jerry Sandusky on some 8-year-old boy in the Oval Office, and Matthews would still be carrying his water. Matthews is simply venting his frustration at the incompetence and laziness which permeates the entire White House. He had a uncustomary episode of emotional honesty, but he will be in it for the long haul over the next 12 months. It was nice though to get a bit of insight that the President really is AWOL when it comes to actually 'doing' President. He is by far the laziest President this nation has ever had. He is completely out of the loop in all matters of the Executive branch. So it begs to ask, who is actually running the show?
