PRINCETON, NJ -- Republicans are most likely to name Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich as their first choice for their party's 2012 presidential nomination, with Herman Cain close behind. Among all Republicans nationwide, Romney is the choice of 20% and Gingrich 19%. Among Republican registered voters, Gingrich is at 22% and Romney at 21%.

Two earlier posts on the candidates:

Republican Caucus Power Rankings for 11/21/11……….[Romney] ……..Even if these efforts only help to lock in that low 20% support, it could be enough for a win on caucus night if the rest of the field remains splintered.…….Also, Paul benefits to the extent that the not-Romney caucus-goers do not coalesce around a single candidate.……..

The History of Newt - Are Republicans ready to look past his transgressions?……”Believe it or not, his press secretary…insists Gingrich has gotten a grip on himself…”.

WE ARE SCREWED.
Once again the RATS with help from the MSM are going to pick our candidate.

I can't stand either RINO Newtie or Mitchie baby.
Flame away I won't answer. If you are dumb enough to support either you are beyond my help.

If these two RINO boobs are the best we can come up with then maybe we don’t deserve to win anything.

More and more, I’m half expecting a deadlocked convention that only Sarah Palin can unite after she is drafted.

The GOP establishment will demand their own way, the anti-establishment delegates (for Cain, Paul, et al) will NOT go along, and Slick Willard will get the same kind of reception that Rockefeller did at the Cow Palace in ‘64.

Mitt-Witt needs to step down in memory of his brainwashed Daddy NOW.

Both guys are unacceptable.
To misquote the immortal LBJ—it’s actualy BETTER to have them OUTSIDE our tent, pi**ing in, that it is to have the two of them INSIDE the tent—but ALSO pi**ing inside our tent.

yep... We are...

If we allow the socialist M’er F’ers in both parties to “give” us a “selection” of socialist GOP’ers or Socialist Dem.

Honestly though, were F’ed anyway until we realize that the states are the route to freedom and nothing will get done via the federal government. Even if we win both branches and select all of the third.

F Newt
F Mitt

I PROMISE THE GOP, I WILL STAY HOME IF MY CHOICE IS EITHER ONE OF THESE F’ing DOUCHE BAGS.

“Both guys are unacceptable”

Good grief! Who is acceptable? This is exactly what's wrong with this GOP. It's a big embarrassing food fight. Now they're turning on Newt. We are looking like a bunch of nincompoops who can't make a decision to save our souls.

WE are not the problem. The execrable platoon of RINOs are the problem. I’m for Cain.

Here's that broken record again. How much more time do conservatives need to find a champion? Who were those defeated champions of 2008? 2004? 2000? 1996? 1992? 1988? Reagan ran 3 times before winning the nomination.

One thing that would help is if Bachmann would take one for the team, and throw her support *somewhere*.

Perry’s exit would help as well, but he retains enough fund raising capacity so he has more incentive to hold on hoping that he is the last “conservative” standing.

When you write stuff like that (along with the rest of your cutting comments on this forum) you appear to be a poster intent on causing division.

It's not debate; it's not giving a strong defense; you just tear down and insult.

Interesting.

Gallup lies.

They’re pushing Slick Willard hard. In their own poll, he doesn’t top 30%!
