The group said it opted against Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.) because he does not support constitutional amendments banning gay marriage and abortion, and said they had concerns about Cain on “life, marriage, foreign policy, and presidential readiness."

Gosh, which do you think was the tipping point that disqualified Cain? Ironic that Presidential readiness was last on the list...seems to be true for Cain backers, too.

Of course, we have a President now who wasn't ready for it, so what harm can one more do? Right?

Nobody is ever ready to be President, which is why we need someone capable of rising to the challenges he will face.

So,if Cain is deemed not ready to be president, who is ready? Who is your pick? Also, comparing Obama to Cain is like apples to a five course meal. Cain has actually had a wide variety of experiences that make him very well rounded. Obama has never held a job that did not depend on the government handouts.
