They’re wrong to slam Cain about social conservative issues. The fact that he as no political experience is a HUGE PLUS. He’s smart, he’ll learn whatever he needs to learn.

Sarah Palin did not endorse Bob Vander Plaats for governor in 2008; she endorsed the elected Republican, Terry Branstad.

In 2008 the WHO-Des Moines drive-time host Steve Deace (a self-described reformed porn addict) slammed everyone but Mike Huckabee.

Deace continued to go to the barricades against those who were not pure enough for him--which was pretty much everyone.

The station dropped his local drive-time seat, and he's pushed to the late-night slot between financial advice and flying saucers.

On any sane planet, Herman Cain's defense of life is impeccable.

I'm just saying, this "influential group of conservatives" that ousted Cain was itself not endorsed by Sarah Palin, and its head was defeated--hence, not "influential." Bob Vander Plaats is not a winner.

The 1994 contract Sounds wonderful. However contract was not completed why should we assume Newt will work to finish it this time. Newt quit just 4 years after 1994.

How is Newt better with serial adultery?
Do actions mean anything in their world?
Or is it just position papers?

The Contract with America and the associated bills were the action he could take as a Congressman. As President he can use the bully pulpit to sell the ideas to the American people, just like he is demonstrating in the debates.

You would be surprised if you knew the sins of many of the great men in history, King David being one example. These men in powerful positions are buffeted continually with temptations of the flesh.

Like you, I hope that Newt does not end up becoming President and embarrass the American people with more injurious immoral behavior. From what he has said, his relationship with the Lord has become closer, which is far more important than gaining the Presidency.
