An Arizona man claims he was sexually abused 30 years ago by a Penn State professor — and the university refused to investigate his claims.
Paul McLaughlin, now of Phoenix, says the abuse began when he was just 11 and lasted from 1977-81, with an education professor and two other predators targeting him.
The victim told ABC News that he made audiotapes in 2001 of conversations where Prof. Jack Neisworth admitted performing oral sex on him.
“Although I had clear evidence of abuse by this professor, the university refused to act,” charged McLaughlin. “Last week’s arrest of Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky for the same kind of abuse suggests little has change
Penn State officials declined to comment on the allegations, according to ABC News.
McLaughlin went public with his charges as the mother of one alleged Sandusky victim told ABC News that the disgraced ex-coach’s claims of innocence made her ill.
“It sickened me, that he would be on TV, trying to downplay his charges,” the mother said. “And I think it made him look more guilty.”
McLaughlin, 45, said he taped his talks with the nationally known Neisworth as he underwent therapy over the decades-old incidents.
In late 2001 and early 2002, McLaughlin said he sent copies of the tapes to university officials in an effort to launch an investigation — but was roundly ignored.
Neisworth was indicted for child sexual abuse in 2005 in Maryland, although the charges were dismissed for lack of evidence.
In 2006, the professor — without admitting any wrongdoing — reached an out-of-court settlement with McLaughlin in a lawsuit filed by the purported victim.
The professor is a well-known expert of child development, and has received acclaim for his work with autistic children.

My guess is, like our government, the colleges and universities, are cesspools of this kind of criminal behavior. Along with returning our government, at all levels, to principles on which the country was founded, we need to thoroughly investigate our “institutions of higher learning” as they have been the breeding ground for much of what is currently wrong in addition to being likely nuclei for sexual depravity.
That’s because men who rape young boys are homsexual pedophiles and they can’t let that out becasue it makes homosexuals look worse then they are, which is pretty hrd to do.

2000: Sandusky caught in the football showers performing oral sodomy on a young boy (after all of the other janitors on shift and the supervisor were told, I doubt it remained a secret).
2001-2002: Ignoring this report.
2002: Taking Mike McQuary's reported anal rape by Sandusky of a preteen boy and eventually turning it to 'horseplay'; failing to notify any police or child protective agency.

Liz? Do you have a cite for that? It sounds like what was first said about Victim #1 but has since been refuted by some reliable sources. According to the State Attorney General, two of the coaches at the school immediately spoke with the appropriate officials as soon as the mother expressed a concern, and shared their own concerns. It was primarily their testimony, and not the mother's, that spurred the investigation.

Some very good comments on the thread. A couple of things I would do if I was In Charge:
1. Death penalty for child rapists, and not after 20 years of appeals. If guilty, 2 weeks for him/her to think about it, and then public execution.
2. NO fedgov money for any college, university, nothing, nada. Let them sink or swim on their own.
3. One more - all promotion of pedophilia, descriptions, etc - totally illegal. Absolutely illegal.

As this whole Penn State thing unfolds, we will continue to be shocked by the evil that pervaded/pervades that instution. It seems that many of that instution need to be instutionalized, but in a prison...where they might become the punchees.
This could add credance to the theory a couple of FReepers had that the guy who saw him raping the boy,could have been a victim when he was young.

I'll tell you what, if it had been MY son and they tried that crap, I would have whipped out my cell phone and called the cops right there on the spot. My next call would have been to my lawyer to make sure the cops didn't try any funny stuff. Then I would be calling every agency I could think of, and I wouldn't have left that office until officers started showing up.

In the latest twist to the Jerry Sandusky alleged child sex scandal, it appears that one of the two new sexual abuse allegations we told you about yesterday was made by a family member of the former Penn State football coach.
Sandusky’s attorney Joe Amendola told Sara Ganim of The Patriot-News that the allegations stem from difficulties within the child’s immediate family, a statement he later confirmed to NBC News. He said “the assault is alleged to have occurred prior to Sandusky’s arrest earlier this month, but was not brought to the authorities attention until after the former Penn State coach was charged.
The Patriot-News is withholding the child’s relationship to Sandusky to shield the child’s identity.”
This and the other new allegation are being investigated by the state’s Children and Youth Services, which means the accusations are coming not from adults, but from children. Right now, there are eight other alleged cases mentioned in the Grand Jury report.

However the finances of Sandusky’s Seven Mile Foundation and Spanier’s use of PS finances are probably a hotbed of pedophilia activities. The IRS has targeted “non-profit foundations” as the locus classicus for fraud-—money laundering, tax evasion and other crimes.

It’s a mistake not to connect ex-PS Pres Graham Spanier and Sandusky. These are two very calculated predators——they did not operate in a vacuum. They were very calculated in everything they did.

Spanier’s degrees are in sociology with a chosen emphasis on human sexuality – wife swapping, adolescent sex, etc. Spanier asserted he wanted to make PSU the most LGBT-friendly school in the country. Spanier’s sponsorship gave Penn State the first gay fraternity in the nation. Under Spanier’s leadership, Penn State sponsored “the Tent of Consent” - all about gay sex, as well as C*ntfest (shocker).
Now, shortly after his arrival, Spanier tried to get rid of the legendary Paterno. Why? The football program was bringing in tons of money. Paterno was (and remained) one of the LOWEST paid college coaches in the country. M/M Paterno donated millions to the University. Spanier lost the battle, but one has to ask: why was Spanier so eager to get rid of Joe??
It becomes clearer and clearer why Spanier was out to ditch Paterno-—Spanier had to remove any and all obstacles in his path to solidifying Penn State as a protected pedophilia haven for Sandusky (and whoever else was involved in these heinous activities).

Now isn’t that interesting-——Spanier was approved for the president’s job DESPITE recommendations against it by those who knew of his push to normalize homosexuality. Those who voted to approve Spanier should also be investigated——they are in deep, deep doo-doo. What did Spanier offer for a vote to approve him for the job?
As I have stated on other threads, this practice has gone on in the Bay Area of San Fran since the late 60s. The raping of little boys is considered a worthy and prideful goal of male homosexuals everywhere. It is part of the lifestyle no one talks about except open NAMBLA members.
That is intense. So basically it’s not just Pedo State University, but Pedo Town, Pedo Police Department, Pedo County.
But Paterno knew pedophilia was going on and did practically nothing about it, so why would Spanier want to get rid of him?
Someone I know well got stuck in traffic in SF in the late 80s to 91, and had to witness a “Gay Pride” parade. He saw men wearing leather jock straps, collars, whips, assorted S&M paraphernalia, with little boys on chain leashes and collars around their necks, some getting rides on the perverts shoulders, some walking along.
