The teacher's explanation was slightly acceptable. Had she not wanted to be political, she could have had the kids write his daughters and not him. Whether they wrote to him or his kids, some White House lackey will probably be writing any response the class gets anyway, with an automatic pen signature from Bambi. A real keepsake.

“Has the CIA, NSA, FBI, ATF, EPA and FDA started their investigations about this yet?”

These agencies have no jurisdiction in Scotland

I told my daughter that Obama is never in the White House anyway. I also was going to ask her teacher if they wrote goodbye letter to President Bush. Anyway she is a nice teacher so I will let this all go for now. Thank god my older child goes to a private high school. It's worth being bankrupt for four years.

You’re right, he is never in the White House, so how would he know how he likes living there? They could have written Bo the dog, and gotten a more intelligent response. They had to give him a two letter name (Obo’s initials), just so Obama would be able to spell it :-)

LOL! Is that for real??

I don't know - I just found it surfing.

But if it's not real it should be!

Remember: "False but accurate."

If they put these up at county fairs they would have waiting lines out to the highway.

“While it does not violate any laws, we believe that the burning of political or public figures in effigy can be an act of hate, stifles productive engagement and can be offensive.”

I guess the burning of an effigy of Guy Fawkes every November the 5th all over the UK doesn't count...:^)

Remember 3 or 4 years ago when dissent was patriotic?

And there were no complaints from the MSM when the moonbats in San Freaksicko burned Bush in effigy in 2004.

You need to go to Canada to celebrate a Commonwealth Thanksgiving. Second Monday in October. Same type of turkey dinner and a day off making it a long weekend. Otherwise it is fairly low key holiday. It has been said the US Thanksgiving in contrast is the biggest holiday of the year for the United States.
