QUITMAN, GA (WALB) - 12 former Brooks County officials were indicted for voter fraud. The suspects are accused of illegally helping people vote by absentee ballot.
State officials launched an investigation after an unusually high number of absentee ballots were cast in the July 2010 primary election. "As a result of their grand jury findings 12 individuals were indicted in that particular matter and we will be trying that case in a court of judicial law instead of a court of public opinion so that will be pending this next year," said District Attorney Joe Mulholland

The defendants include some workers in the voter registrar’s office and some school board members. They are Angela Bryant, April Proctor, Brenda Monds, Debra Denard, Lula Smart, Kechia Harrison, Robert Denard, Sandra Cody, Elizabeth Thomas, Linda Troutman, Latashia Head, and Nancy Denard.
Ballot stuffing should be a capital offense.

You wouldn't have to do it more than once an election, since even Democrats, as dim as they are, will remember one of their own. You will have to do it quickly, tho, since, if you wait too long, Dims will not be able to equate the crime with the punishment, due to new stuff crowding out the old stuff in their limited memory.
I agree. But what I meant by ‘swift’ was no tarrying or dilly-dallying. Convict and take the prisoner to the execution grounds for immediate dispensing of sentence.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested by the Southern Judicial Circuit District Attorney David Miller to conduct this investigation.
The investigation into this matter by the GBI’s Regional Office in Thomasville continues.

When I saw this on Drudge my first thought was that it was about voter fraud in Georgia (Russia), since I live in Georgia and had hear nothing about this.
At this moment there’s still no mention of it on the ajc website and I don’t think there ever will be. Lots of comments about no party affiliation mentioned, but at least this news site reported the indictments.
