Girls Reclaim Their Heritage Scouting for a reclaiming of innocence
Bobby identifies as a girl, and hes a boy, a Denver mother told a TV station in a news story about her son, who has been accepted as a Girl Scout.
Hes been doing this since he was about two years old. Hes loved girl stuff, so we just let him dress how he wants, as long as hes happy, she explained.
When she first approached the Girl Scouts local troop leader about joining, the answer was pretty sensible: But hes a boy.
But whats sensible is not always politically correct, so the troop leader subsequently got a talking-to. Girl Scouts is an inclusive organization and we accept all girls in kindergarten through twelfth grade as members, the Girl Scouts of Colorado declared. The statement continued: If a child identifies as a girl and the childs family presents her as a girl, Girl Scouts of Colorado welcomes her as a Girl Scout. . . . In this case, an associate delivering our program was not aware of our approach.

Grasshopper cookies taste better than overpriced thinmints anyway.
I liked the mint cookies, but they’re a cheap mass produced product (not sold cheap by GSA, though). With lots of those naughty trans fats, and in this case they probably really are naughty.
I hate that word "associate." What happened to employee?
I’ll bet anything that the parents of these boys who are so convinced they’d rather be girls were very disappointed that they had sons, and were quick to praise any “feminine” behavior their sons displayed. Kids *will* learn what they are taught.
For an organization like Girl Scouts to promote or tolerate this kind of child abuse is reprehensible.
This phenomenon (of parents insisting that their son would really be a daughter) seems to be a variant of the Munchausen syndrome. The difference is that instead of trying to convince people that the child has a physical illness, they’re trying to convince everyone that the child believes he is the “wrong” gender.
But then, if a Girl Scout Official identifies with dumba$$e$ she should be accepted to the State Bar as a lawyer. Same logic.
Dollar General stores sells the exact same cookies that the Girl Scouts sell. It is sold under the name “Clover Valley” there is what some other Clover Valley products look like

It is made my the same company that makes GS cookies which would you believe is Keibler? Even better at Dollar General these cookies run about $1.85 per box, at least in my area they do.
Clover Valley has the “Thin mints, Samoas, Tagalongs”, and one other, can’t remember...
The Girl Scouts probably support Planned Parenthood and every other perverted leftist thing
That’s ok. Truth always wins out in the end; pretense gets its ugly throat cut. This experimental liberal crap has a way of back firing and, in this case, it will likely and eventually cause some liberal her/his job and with a nice lawsuit judgment on top of it.
The retarded left uses the argument that boys achieve better than girls in sports and mathematics because of conditioning not because of innate differences. Now they use the argument that gender identity is an innate perception that must be nurtured and not corrected by conditioning. This is what we are up against, an enemy that keeps changing the rules.
>> If a child identifies as a girl ...
I fail to see how a boy that enjoys doing girl things defines him as girl to the point gender sets must be disrupted.
I guess bisexuals can be both Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts.
Another moral institution destroyed by the amoral liberals.
They are winning, folks!
I love Samoas-after I have reached my goal weight I will eat a few cookies not the entire contents of a box in a hour or so. WILL POWER!
Well, the short answer is that we’re supposed to be liberal. We’re supposed to embrace the LGBT agenda, of which the T is trans-whatever, which includes boys who think they are girls and vice versa. And because we’re supposed to be liberal, we’re supposed to encourage the boy to explore his girl side.
We can’t just say only girls with biological female bodies can be girl scouts. Not anymore. Instead, somewhere along the way, liberal thought has penetrated everything.
Everyone above a certain age will confirm for us that something like this could not have happened in 1960. It would have been inconceivable that a boy thinks he’s a girl, and due to that, the rest of the world has to change its rules to accomodate him and his parents thinking.
Here’s what gets me. The liberal view is that sex and gender don’t matter, that girls can be anything and do anything that a male can do, from the children’s sports activities to the adult careers such as being an astronaut or a fireman.
So, if sex and gender make no difference, if it’s just a minor part of one’s life with regard to life’s activities, why is it so important to the left to force a traditional girl’s organization to take a mentally disturbed boy??? Why is it so damned important to make that political statement that the Girl Scouts take anyone whose parents have decided should be identified as a girl????
I hear what you’re saying in both posts, and tend to agree.
BTW, not being completely familiar with this case, I’ll float the idea the boy may not be clinically disturbed; he may be a product of conditioning that exploited his interests in things normally associated with girls. It’s the adult behavior that seems disturbing.
What is Frontier Girls? I never heard of them, but having 3 sons, I guess I don’t need them.

Those G.S. cookies can be costly for parents of girl scouts, last year it cost me around $120 for cookies ordered but not paid for (and subsequently, not delivered to) customers. My little girl is no longer in G.S. (Her choice).
We gave away those extra cookies to our church after we paid for them.
I'm wondering if this is standard practice or unique to her G.S. group.
