They are fuzzy about some issues but the Republican presidential candidates leave little doubt about where they stand on gun rights.
President Barack Obama, on the other hand, is virtually silent on the issue.
Obama's history in support of strict gun control measures prior to becoming president makes it difficult for him to claim he's a Second Amendment champion, even though he signed a bill allowing people to take loaded guns into national parks. At the same time, he's apparently decided that his record backing gun safety is nothing to boast of, either, perhaps because of the power of the gun lobby.

George Soros has some company named Cerberus Capital Mangement which has already bought Marlin, Remington, Bushmaster, Panther, DPMS Firearms, I think also Rock River plus others. They are going to call their weapons division Freedom Group Inc. If you control the manufacturers you could just decide to stop selling to civilians. Ain’t life grand?

Yes I looked it up. Cerebras owns about 10 arms manufacturers now and they tried to buy Ronnie Barrett but he told them to eff off. A great American. Buy Barrett!!!

Recently, an old rumor regarding Cerberus--the private equity firm that owns Freedom group, a holding company that in turn owns a number of firearms manufacturers, including Remington, Marlin, Bushmaster, and DPMS--was in some way tied to George Soros. This rumor is completely false and baseless. NRA has had contact with officials from Cerberus and Freedom Group for some time. The owners and investors involved are strong supporters of the Second Amendment and are avid hunters and shooters. In reality, at no time has George Soros ever been a part of the ownership group of Freedom Group or Cerberus, and as a privately traded corporation, there is no possibility that he will be in the future. This unsubstantiated rumor has caused a great deal of unnecessary concern for gun owners. NRA-ILA urges our members to take great care before repeating baseless rumors found on the Internet. |
I guess this means that the NRA is in on the conspiracy?
what is unclear? the democrats have been trying to take guns away for a generation. They view Americans that exercise their right to keep and bear arms as a threat to their plan of total societal subjugation to the authority of the state.
Anyone that thinks otherwise is a danger to the rest of us.

Obama is anything but “unclear” on gun control. He’s shown he will break laws and trash the Constitution to try to disarm us.

I did not know this however about 2 years ago before the weapons issue came up my fiancee’ read that Soros was funding millions of dollars of loans through Cerberus as an investor to people of the right political persuasion. Since Cerberus is a private company I guess we and the NRA will have to take their word that Soros is not involved.
George Soros, as far as I know, owns no part of Cerberus or Freedom Arms. The owners are all gun nuts and they seem to be doing a good job.
This is a life long dream according to them.
Soros has about 13.7 billion according recent estimates. Lots of money and he can get controlling interest in some companies, but not all of them.
Obama is not silent. Everything done by his administration as trial balloons is his voice speaking. Fast and Furious is his voice and his project. He owns it.
Obongo Bozo’s position on gun control is very clear to me — if he gets his way, he’ll make ownership of a personal weapon illegal!

There is strength in numbers, and with roughly 90 million gun owners in the USA (and I suspect that number is way understated!), there is no reason why Obongo Bozo and his LIEberal buddies should prevail.
But it will require much vigilance! And a lot of time, talent and treasure to defeat these bastards!
And, defeat them we must!
