Whether it’s a Republican or a Democrat I have always been in favor of getting rid of the secret service, airforce one, giving the whitehouse a budget of 500K and requiring ALL politicians to fly coach.

Agreed. The politicians feature themselves "royalty". The abuse of the taxpayer's money is beyond criminal. They need to be grounded and return to the concept of the citizen legislator with a limited term. The day of the professional politician needs to end. The replacement of the House every 2 years should have accomplished some of that aim, but it seems the politicians have rigged the game to make it a career.
