But I do think that JR himself is getting pretty sick of it. He’s already put a fork in Newt.

Yep, I know Bush-43 was. And I now here the same words from Newt and Perry regarding the coddling of Illegals.
So yes, as I said earlier, there is no way that I can see anyone as “humane” as Newt being able to give orders to the Border Patrol to open fire on border crossers...which is EXACTLY what is needed if we want to secure the borders.
Well, let's just look at my track record vs. their track record on analyzing the 2012 election cycle over the past few months. The results speak for themselves.
Perrybots: If Perry runs for President, it will quickly become a TWO-WAY RACE between him and Romney! Perry is the ANTI-Romney!
Me: If Perry runs for President, he'll add more dead weight with another mediocre choice. All Perry's presence will do is split the conservative vote further and make it easier for Romney to win.
RESULT: Perry ran for President, added more dead weight, and is only split the conservative vote further and making it easier for Romney.
Perrybots: Perry's polling no. #1 now!!!! OMG!!! The primary's OVER. Perry's WILL BE the nominee. Bank on it. You Perry haters better get used to it.
Me: Early polls mean nothing at this point. During the last Presidential campaign, Giuliani was #1 at this point. How'd he do in the primaries? Perry can go from 30% to 5% overnite. It's too early for you guys to pop the champagne.
RESULT: Perry went from 30% to 5% overnite. The early polls showing him in #1 place meant nothing.
Perrybots: OK, Rick had a bad night today with the "heartless" comment. Doesn't matter. The first two debates, he was good. He had back pain and that's the only reason why he did poorly tonite. He'll be at the top of his game in future debates. Just you wait!
Me: Perry's a lousy debater, whether you want to accept that doesn't change this. He gets a deer-in-the-headlights look during alot of these debates. Put this guy on camera again and he'll embarrass you more.
RESULT: Perry had more debates and embarrassed himself more. Just when his fans thought it couldn't get any worse, he forgot with cabinet agencies he'd abolish.
Perrybots: Debates never decided nothin'. (nope I never heard of that whole JFK vs. Nixon thing in 1960). Voters will look at Perry and see he's a LEADER!!!!
Me: Perry had a chance to sell himself to the public and it's not working. He just keeps digging himself in deeper. He'll get killed if he's the nominee against Obama.
RESULT: Debates killed Perry's credibility. He kept digging himself in deeper and fell to around 5th/6th place where he remains today.
Perrybots: Perry only passed in-state tuition cuz the people of Texas WANTED it. Here in Texas we all know how wonderful Perry is. He'll win Texas easily. You just don't get us Texans. You HATE Texas!!!!
Me: The people of Texas didn't want it, the state legislature did. You Perrybots seem to confuse bigger state government with "citizen empowerment". Fortunately, voters don't agree with you. Keep hawking the in-state tuition stuff though, and I wouldn't be surprised if Perry falls behind in Texas.
RESULT: Voters don't agree with Perry's record and his support for in-state tuition. He is now polling 3rd place in his home state of Texas.
Perrybots: Hey, the liberal media has some innuendo that Herman Cain harassed a woman!!! Let's viciously go over Cain with unproven allegations! He SUCKS!!! If we can take down Cain, our boy Rick will be no. 1 AGAIN!!! Cain voters will have no choice but to come home to Perry! Yeehaw!!!
Me: Trashing Herman Cain isn't going to help your guy Perry. It may cause Cain to lose support, but it's not going to help Perry regain any. Right now, the only candidate with momentum is Newt. Damage Cain and you might end up with Newt in first place, and he's even worse than Perry.
RESULT: Cain was damaged and fell from #1. It didn't help Perry one bit, he remained in 5th/6th place. Newt ended up in first place instead, and he's worse than Perry.
