I started out liking Michele but she is always the first to kick her fellow candidates when they’re down. She did it to Perry, she did it to Cain and before Newt was off the platform at Tuesday night’s Debate, her staff was sending out Text Messages, Facebook messages and Twitters saying Newt favored Amnesty. She has acted like a b**** here of late and now we’re reminded that she’s also a hypocrite. Like one lady commentator on FOX News said: She’s acting “desperate”.

What I find puzzling, is that she spends most of her time attacking these guys instead of Romney, who is the front runner. Why constantly keep going after the guys in 2nd or 3rd, and why keep leaving him alone with nary an attack ?

You people like to make it sound like we want to send in the military and march everyone to the border.

There are a lot of Freepers who think that any candidate who would not be willing to do just that is an unacceptable RINO.

On Jimmy Fallon’s show, Michelle Bachmann essentially named Mitt Romney as her choice for V.P.

Michelle is one in a litany of Conservative women with a crush on Mitt (Ann Coulter, Christine O’Donnell, Kelly Ayotte, et al).

We will have to see if it will help Herman Cain when the new polls come out next week showing who gets the majority of former Newt supporters, because he's going to lose a good amount of support for this stupidity. People are getting reminded of the Dede Scozzafava debacle that just happened in 2009 as well, which isn't going to go down well with principled Conservatives. Gingrich is done, and I believe Cain will pick up a good amount of his defectors, but we will have to wait and see where they go, but there's no doubt they are going away from Gingrich.

Even paying IAs to self-deport, a la the Gypsies in France, would be cheaper at this point.

The people who claim it will cost "too much" to get rid of the illegal population are penny wise and pound foolish.

If you want to see what direction this country is headed, just look to California.

A state that's so far in the red that it might as well be a character in The Shining.

We don't have many choices when it comes to politicians who are serious about illegal immigration, and we sure don't need ones apologizing for our views. It gets tiresome to be told by these idiots that everything that would be effective against illegal immigration is impossible, and inhumane. I guess Conservatives are just too heartless, and lack the compassion of unprincipled idiots like Gingrich who pretend they are Conservative, but have a hard time being consistent for some reason.

Did you guys forget the 2009 New York Congressional special election that should disqualify this career establishment politician from being acceptable before you even get into the illegal immigration issue?

LOL

Yeah, I’m sure the old Cain endorsement of Romney for President.......er, I mean.....Gingrich endorsement of the GOP nominee in NY-23 will be shocking new information.

Besides, Conservatives are going to fall all over themselves to vote for a TARP-supporting candidate who supports Affirmative Action, implies his opponents are racist (Perry’s hunting ranch incident), has the same immigration plan as Newt, supports collective bargaining rights for public employees’ unions, and believes states and cities should have the right to ban guns.

Did he mention that Iran is mountainous?

Yes, a lot of us find this puzzling. Could be one of the reasons she was never able to recover and get a second look from GOP voters-most of us can see that there is something fishy going on between her and RINO Romney (you have to be blind or in the tank for Romney not to).

Its the hair, chicks dig the hair...j/k

I'm not sure why Kelly Ayotte is with the Romneys camp, but Christine O'Donnell did get supported by Romney, he endorsed her and donated to her campaign. In essence, he got her before she turned around and endorsed him. I know alot of people think she is just being a flake, but when everyone else was turning their back on her, he didn't, and she may feel that accounts for something.

Ann Coulter is just about wanting the republicans to win, regardless of who or how, and is blinded by the fact that the media thinks Romney can win (she was also on the Christie bandwagon, since Christie is backing Romney, and would probably be his V.P. it makes some logical sense). I think Coulter is dead wrong on this, but at least I understand her, I just don't like it.

Bachman is a disappointment to me, I liked her, I really did, but Rush was right, she jumped the shark in that debate with Perry, and since that, has been falling over herself.....Sadly, its pretty clear, that when this is over, she will endorse Romney, and thats just sad.

Dede Scozzafava makes Romney look great in comparison, and Gingrich had no reason to support her. Almost every Conservative supported the actual Conservative in the race including Sarah Palin, and Fred Thompson. Gingrich was on the side of the log cabin republicans.

What a bunch of BS about Cain supporting the banning of guns, when he's supporting States rights, which doesn't include unconstitutional rights which a gun ban would amount to. Show me where Cain believes that States, and cities have the right to make unconstitutional laws banning guns? You can't because what he's for is State rights and you know it, which is how it's meant to be, but it doesn't allow for unconstitutional laws like banning guns which is just an outright lie that won't fool anyone.

Cain doesn't have the same stance on illegal immigration either. He wants to actually stop it he's so damn inhumane. Anyone who can't see Mexico as a bigger threat than a nation like Iran isn't too bright when it comes to foreign policy by the way. Just because they are seen so differently doesn't change reality.

It's possible.

From the standpoint of energizing the base, Romney is almost without question the worst selection.

Ron Paul's supporters would not have supported any other nominee, but if Mitt is the Republican candidate a third party challenger who's a libertarian or conservative becomes a much more realistic scenario.

Selecting Bachmann as his running-mate would be analogous to what McCain did by choosing Sarah Palin.

I'm not sure how successful the gambit would be.

Today, I’m sitting out on my front porch and a dually extended late model truck pulls up. A Mexican gets out and pisses on the street.

Today, I’m sitting out on my front porch and Juan tells me he is my new neighbor. Juan is the 5th family to move into the house next door, all of them living there at the same time.

Juan’s house is a 2,400 square foot house worth about $400,000.

Some chicken joint just opened up in my neighborhood and I took my daughter there for lunch. I walked in and saw blonds, brunets, blacks and Latinos. The place was packed and the employees were eager to please.

I was shocked. Every other fast food establishment around California State University Northridge has old Mexicans that can’t speak English. I was beginning to think that college students didn’t want to work.

I have pretty much given up eating out because I have worked with these Mexicans. I know that they will wipe their feces on the bathroom stalls, place small container of piss on the bathroom stall doors to drop onto the next person to use it. I know that they throw their used toilet paper on the floor because they don’t know our bathrooms can flush it.

Bachmann has evolved.

Newt has not, and he never will as he is too set in his moderate ways.

I agree, and I’m someone who thinks Bachmann would make a great POTUS, but yes, it is puzzling.

What part of “Shall not be infringed” do you and Cain NOT understand?

-—”Blitzer: Should states or local government be allowed to control guns, the gun situation, or should…

Cain: Yes

Blitzer: Yes?

Cain: Yes.

Blitzer: So the answer is yes?

Cain: The answer is yes, that should be a state’s decision.”-—

-—”....Dede Scozzafava makes Romney look great in comparison, and Gingrich had no reason to support her...”-—

Sure, let’s take a poll: If Freepers had to choose between:

a.) Mitt Romney as President of the USA, or
b.) Dede Scuzzyflavor as Congresswoman in NY-23

which would they choose?

-—”...Cain doesn’t have the same stance on illegal immigration either. He wants to actually stop it he’s so damn inhumane...”-—

He does have the same position: secure the borders, enforce the existing laws, increase the guest worker program, and selective deportation as opposed to blanket deportation. You can bark that’s it’s not the same policy all you want, but the truth is that it IS THE SAME POLICY. It’s the SAME.

Because she doesnt believe she would ever get the Romney supporters. So she’s attacking conservative candidates because those are the voters she feels she could get. Just like Perry has been trying to derail Cain.

If you are sitting in 2nd or 3rd place, you attack the front runner. If you are sitting in 4th or 5th place, you attack whoever you can acquire votes from. If she only attacks Romney, all that does is help the guy in 2nd place (which is good for us but bad for her).

So which Bachmann grade is that? The one from September 7th or the one from the last debate, or a combination of the two?

Re: your Post #11: And no Republican, in the race now, has more substance than Newt Gingrich; thank you.

"Substance", indeed. Very specific proposals for "urgent" government action to stop "climate change", individual mandates for health insurance, and new big government plans from everything from immigration to ethanol. And of course, the now-familiar breathtaking hypocrisies of attacking Agenda 21 after a career of embracing it, and embracing school choice after being one of only 29 Republicans (nearly all N.E. RINOs) to vote in favor of Jimmy Carter's Dept. of Education monster. And of course, who can forget what he thought of leftist hack Dede Scozzafava - and how he doubled down and hang with her until well past the point of universal condemnation, showing the worst sin of all: the same political tin ear that enabled Dick Morris' plans to demonize the GOP in 1996. The same tin ear that had him blasting Paul Ryan's budget as "right-wing social engineering". The same tin ear that would lead to an electoral disaster in the unfortunate event he were to become our nominee. But go ahread and keep pimping for Newt. We'll find out how the 'boomlet' ends 37 days from now.

There's only been one grade, as far as I know.

That was last updated in October, and I don't see what's changed in the interim.
