He’s just making sure his son can eat out of the government trough. Cause doncha just know that Michael Powell at the FCC deserved that job. What a tool.

I agree with the media. But the divisive tone preceded the Tea Party by many years, and it has also survived it.

Powell was one of Reagan’s mistakes. His mistake is one common to all Republicans; who eagerly seek the votes of blacks and Mexicans. Neither group will ever support conservative Republicans but only those Republicans that will support them financially and are indistinguishable from Democrats.

Colin Powell on Sunday blamed the media as well as the Tea Party for the divisive political tone in Washington.

Actually, he speaks the truth, before Fox and the tea party there was no divisive political tone in Washington because the only sound coming out was the voice of the democrats and "their" media.
Now there are conservative political tones coming from the tea party. It's called different opinions, and it's welcomed in a free country.

Powell-a black whose parents immigrated from Jamaica? and had NONE of the creds of auhentic American slave descendents, who was promoted and succeeded above his "pay grade" due to affirmative action and the patronage of Republicans, has a set of bronze spheres when it comes to judging.

Can't abide the man.

We are now witness black America (and its race pimps) deflecting the reality of being assessed via their character, not their skin color. That's where the flailing and gnashing of teeth is coming from.

Remember; The Bowel was never really a general, he was just an affirmative action figure head that was convenient for the military between the late 60s and his appointment to the Joint Chiefs. Remember, that was when all of the social engineering was going on in all the big services; (Army, Navy and Air Force). Even the Corps felt some of that crap, just not to as great an extent. Once he was appointed to the Joint Chiefs he made his first and worst strategic error of his career, he thought the libs would be in power for ever and started making all of his decisions based on that error. Those decisions made during a period of Congressional and Senate liberal ascendancy got him his slot as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. His second and probably worst strategic error was was not being able to see the changes that have occured over the last 3 to 5 years. The plebeians have got fed up with lib business as usual in DC and are more than ready to change it. Now he is stuck with his decisions and the things he has said over the last few years, we have the video tape and film for the 10:00 o'clock news. Really good general always tries to stay flexible and adapt to the changes on the battle field, he failed to do this. A politician, not a general. He will take credit where he can and lie like hell when necessary.

Powell supported Obama, so as far as I’m concerned he can suck it.

Outside of a battlefield and surrounded by fellow commanders to make him look good, Powell is an idiot and always has been. =.=

He is an embarrassment to the US Army and a case study in why the Army officer corps stopped being a meritocracy a long time ago.
