"I already said that if he wants to use a teleprompter, then it would be fine with me. [applause, laughter] It has to be fair. [laughter] If you [were] to defend ObamaCare, wouldn't you want a teleprompter?" Gingrich said.

Here is Cain schooling BJ Billy.

I’m quite positive Teleprompter’s abilities are overrated.

Newt against Obama’s speech writers would be a hoot.

I wonder how many others who have seen Newt in power as I have will not vote for him either.

What did Speaker Gingrich do that you abhor so much?

Newt is no dummy. The likelihood of successful GOP debates with Mr. Teleprompter increases dramatically with Gingrich as the nominee. There is no question that this a large part of the reason for his rapid climb in the polls. And there is no doubt that Newt recognizes this fact and will be exploiting it.

Finally! Rational, logical thought without screaming or name calling (except for the Mr. Teleprompter comment, but seriously who cares) or swearing to sit out the election. Thank you!!

He was pro-mandate on health care, pro-amnesty, even back then. He was all for Newt and Party, and not for America, save where he could gain from it himself. The things he is most praised for, while good, were gimmicks for power, and not root causes.

“Obama will not use the teleprompter. He, with the cooperation of the press, will simply pick some knee padded lackey...”

Doesn't matter. Gingrich would absolutely wipe the floor with him. Most of us here would. That we have to worry about the debating skills of some of our candidates is not a reflection of how hard it is. It's a reflection of just how pathetic politics and politicians have become.

Too bad debating is so highly favored. Most decisions a president makes are not split second. How about having various people present questions a few days ahead of time so the candidates can think about them a bit more deeply and present a well-thought response.

He’s better than Romney.

I will vote for the most conservative candidate in the primaries and the republican in the general.

Newt, remember David beat Goliath

LOL! Yes. I am assuming that you mean that Obama as David has not a sling with a rock but the entire MSM to hurl things at Newt or for that matter, any person who has the temerity to challenge the ONE®. ☺

Don’t get cocky, Newt, remember David beat Goliath. Obama has the ability to sting you.

Sort of an update of the classic 'the frog and the scorpion' tale...

Logic won’t win these debates, sentiment will. To Newt’s logic Obomba will respond with class warfare. Expect to hear tales of woe, with names and addresses of the sufferees spelled out. You too will have to empathize.

In this scenario Obama would be Goliath and Newt would be David.

Well if Newt wants to follow Obozo around, he would be wise to keep that helmet headed ice queen wife of his out of sight.

At that last debate she looked downright cold and scary. Every single hair in place and unfriendly looking as hell.

She will not be an asset for the likability factor.
