ATLANTA -- Herman Cain on Monday pre-emptively denied a forthcoming accusation by a woman who is expected to say she had a 13-year affair with the Republican presidential candidate.
In an apparent effort to get ahead of the story, Cain appeared in a cable news interview to say the woman is "someone who I know, who is an acquaintance, who I thought was a friend."
MyFoxAtlanta.com released some details of the story, which is scheduled to air Monday night, shortly after Cain appeared on CNN -- identifying the accuser as an Atlanta businesswoman named Ginger White.
"It was pretty simple," White told the station. "It wasn't complicated. I was aware that he was married. And I was also aware I was involved in a very inappropriate situation, relationship."

No, it absolutely doesn’t matter. I am so tired, extremely tired, of conservatives rolling over and quiting on the flimsiest of reasons. Cain’s 999 plan is a good plan. He is spot-on in his foreign policy and I like his common sense approach to domestic affairs. I like his adherence to the Constitution.
I WILL BE VOTING FOR CAIN and if the republicans put up a RINO, they will have no one to blame for their loss but themselves.
We all liked Cain but this is one too many women coming out,he’s through IMHO.Absent cain passing a polygraph its over.
What is wrong with having the accuser take the polygraph?

I just can’t believe anyone with all that dirt in their background would actually run for president. Most people would assume the stories would eventually come out in the media.
Would Cain have been so stupid as to believe they would not come out? I don’t think so.
He’s innocent until proven guilty in my book.

If someone is having a 13 year affair with a married man, wouldn’t that constitute a “floozy”? At first I didn’t believe any of the Cain sexual harassment accusations but at what point do you wonder if they are all lying? Are there any honorable men at all?

Do a little research on the polygraph. It's accuracy has been evaluated to be only slightly better than random chance.
You do realize that politics is now no better than the Mob. People will do or say anything to prevail. That's pretty much on both side with the possible exception of Sarah Palin.
Barney, even with a video this woman will not be believed by some of the Cain supporters.
And even if it turns out to be proven somehow, they will say it doesn’t matter.
This is freaking eye-opening about Cain supporters and their devotion and one has to wonder what the man has done to earn the devotion???
Oh, I agree about his being a RINO.
But you have to keep in mind how the left uses anything they can to destroy an opponent. If he is the nominee, the will exploit his divorce to drive a wedge between the hardcore ‘family’ conservatives. It’s not a matter of ‘if.’ They will definitely exploit that.
Remember the golden rule for the leftists: We can do what we want, but ‘you’ must adhere to a perfect code of conduct.
One has to wonder about the ‘woman is trailer park trash’ defense.
Unless she’s trashy enough to do this because she’s mad at the guy (she didn’t sound mad at all) or unless she’s trashy enough to take money for doing this (and who would pay her? - is it Obama - doubt it - he’s not afraid of Cain) then the trashy defense is without merit.
The press is digging into this woman now like a dog with a buried bone. Something will come out.
It will either disqualify the woman and vindicate Cain or it will prove that she did have an affair.
If I were a Cain supporter, I would hold my fire until something is proven either way.
The last thing I would do right now is send him more money... unless you are willing to gamble with your money.

Yes, I’m sick of Cain supporters (some of them) blaming Perry for this.
He had nothing whatever to do with it.
Of course, Block (?) will probably come out and accuse him of it.

Dirty little secret, according to my daughter who was high up in law enforcement for several years, defendants who pass polygraphs are seldom prosecuted.
And the vision/visual deciphering which is fairly new is good tool as well.Also a strong indication of guilt or not.
A good friend of mine administered polygraphs for years. He admitted that without a really good examiner it "can" be beat but with one it's a lot tougher.
If Cain wants to survive, truth is his only friend.
