The seven remaining Jews in Baghdad have been named by WikiLeaks, leaving them in danger of persecution, according to the city's Anglican vicar.
Their lives are now in immediate danger, according to Canon Andrew White, and they’ve been advised to hide their religion.
Canon White said Baghdad’s Anglican Church is trying to protect them, as they fear extremists might try to kill them if they’re identified.
WikiLeaks published diplomatic cables from Baghdad which named the individuals of the small Jewish community.
And now the American Embassy is trying to locate any Jewish diplomats who could help the exposed individuals take part in religious ceremonies safely, to make up the number they’re required to take part in under Jewish Law.

Nice of wikileaks. There were a couple dozen Jews in 2003, Israel took those willing to leave.
Time to go home to Israel.

For those reading the post, just a reminder that Israel took in hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees who were expelled from Arab countries immediately after the Israeli War of Independence. Many of those refugees, particularly from Iraq & Iran, were well off financially and became destitute. But no offer anywhere from the Arab countries of financial restitution/reimbursement for those losses. And no political pressure from any Western country in all these years on behalf of the Jewish refugees. Of course not.
I’ll also point out that those Jewish refugees aren’t still living in camps, either, either their own UN agency. . . .

I am puzzled as to why any Jew would live in a muslim country.
THANK YOU, you, gutless, clueless, PC, "Compassionate Conservative" RINO, George W Bush for (a) signing off on allowing Iraq (and Af-gan too) to form a new Constitution with Islam/Sharia being the "Controlling Authority; and
(b) REFUSING to lift a finger (less you "Offend" our "allies" and practitioners of the "Religion of Pieces") in protecting Christians from being "targeted" for harassment, arrest, beatings and even MURDERED.
THAT "we" (the U.S.) expended so much blood and treasure in ridding the world of the Butcher of Baghdad and yet thereafter, (WHEN WE CONTROLLED THE COUNTRY--and though W suggested that we wanted to bring "democracy" to Iraq and the Middle East--did NOTHING to actually allow any sort of Representative Democracy to take hold and FOREVER "guaranteed" that Iraq (and Af-gan) being an Islamic Republics, would NEVER be an "real" ally, nor would ANY of its peoples ever enjoy any Freedom, Liberty or "Rights."
Now any wonder why many of our Military are asking the very same question we Nam Vets did after we "Bugged Out" and left the So. Vietnamese to fend for themselves, knowing the North would soon succeed in their conquest and "Blood would be on our hands?"

Because, when they’ve always been from the middle east. Not all jews moved to europe. They have lived in the middle east since ancient times.
The Jewish communities of Iran, Iraq, Syria, etc have been in place for thousands of years, and have a rich cultural heritage.
Also, later waves of immigrants moved when europe threw them out, amd persecuted them in the inquistions, etc. The muslims nations welcomed the jews with open arms, and gave them a home.

Israel will have to evacuate them, just as they did for the last Jews in Somalia.
