Perry did not. The legislators didnt pass it in the special session. They are the ones that dropped it like a hot potato. Lets get the facts straight...I mean when did Perry become King of Texs?
Don't lecture me. I was deeply involved with lobbying on both the Voter ID bill and Burt Solomon's sanctuary cities ban. Perry gets props for scheduling the session, but as soon as his backers Bob Perry and Charles Butt (of H-E-B) came out against it, Perry did not say another word about it, and the bill died.
And of course we must believe this because you said so, no other documentation. I think not.
