Oakland California. If they were going to give this planet an enema, Oakland is where they would insert the tube.
I used to live in Oakland from January 2004 until October 2009. I lived in middle-class area that was OK, but clearly there were elements that moved in and out that were not super great.
The problem with Oakland is that it is run by Liberals for Liberals and they insulate power by creating a Dependent State for the entrenced poor and the immigrant hordes that swell that Sanctuary City.
Oakland has a great climate, freeway and water access, hills, parks, trees and some great architecture. The issue is Barbara Lee, Ron Dellums-Jean Quan, Unions, Berkeley wackos, Van Jones, Mexican Cartels, Black Panthers, the Occupy crowd and every other loser Leftist/Communist freakshow in the East Bay that call Oakland home.
You may be right, that enema you are referencing could be a plumbing snake, not a lubricated tube.

Maybe Oakland should make it illegal for criminals to use firearms. Oh, wait! They already did that! OK, then maybe California and Oakland need strict gun control laws. Silly me! They already did that too, and for some unfathomable reason only law abiding citizens give up their means of self-defense while the criminals refuse to obey the law. It’s hard to believe that only law-abiding citizens obey the laws and the criminals won’t. Hey, I got it! Maybe they should make a law that makes it against the law to break the law. I bet that would work!
