Not a very good try at deflection, obamanoid. Or should we call you a Romneybot? ... You were seeking to impugn by innuendo. We know it, you know it, and you’re now trying to defelct from being exposed so easily by a simple old freeper like me. Bwahahahahaha ... you freaks just cannot learn, apparently.

You don’t have to support him - but I will decide if I do or not.

And, I will not depend of the media to find out for me.

Are you saying that Cain has to be a perfect candidate even after we have seen the lives of many politicians have not been as moral as we would like?

I don’t approve of any of their immoral acts - but I am looking for the man or woman who will lead this country.

“Good I want him to fight. This smear campaign is too much.”

Good! All that B/S is nothing more that Political Terrorism!, And the same tactics that Al Quida uses in a different form. I don't know who I despise more, the DNC or the media for supporting the left wing ass***es

This is the current condition of the Obama machine because Cain refuses to quit.

“But continuing the fight denies the victory to the headhunters in the short run”

I think you might be on to something. But, I think it might also have something to do with Newt, who supported Mr. Cain today. The two are reportedly good friends. If Cain departs on alleged infidelity, where would that leave Newt?

Even moreso is the fact that Cain is the example of a man who rose up from a lower-middle class family in the South to a successful businessman, while not sharing their values. Even moreso is the fact that the left wants it to narrow down to Romney vs. Obama, where he will likely get owned for holding similar progressive principles. The usual pattern goes that if two progressive candidates clash, the blue progressive ends up winning it out.

You really sound like a media/liberal plant to me.

What do you think the liberals would do to further ruin Cain? Gee, they might have people become members of FR and continually harp on all negatives on any candidate that would ruin the democrats chances.

If you don’t want to support him fine. Why is there a need to tear him down on a conservative website? Mighty suspicious to me.

Originally for Perry. Not sure now. Currently leaning towards Gingrich, but sort of up in the air right now.

Do you know the nature of the texts/calls? A single word contained in any of them?

Do you know how many were TO as opposed to FROM?

Do you know the nature of their relationship?

We know she is making an allegation. Cain flatly denies it. She is on record as a libeler and stalker. Not a single person backs up her story.

So you have ZERO facts. You could wait until you do but you’d rather keep spouting off like an old hen gossiping over her neighbor clothesline

You’re neglecting to mention that apparently Mrs. Cain knew the woman also, and was involved in the friendship.

You’ve obviously made your mind up, but I’m going to wait for enough information to make an intelligent decision.

Yeah, it's really strange how people come to a conservative website to discuss the Republican candidates for POTUS. And asking why Cain hasn't sued anyone isn't "tearing him down," it's pointing out that there's a real easy way to get these women under oath, and it isn't happening.

Cain and Newt might be a good team as pres & vice pres - either one as pres.

We have the FACT that there were 61 to/from calls/texts. IF they were all FROM her, Cain could have easily ended this by implying she is a stalker. He did not.

We have the FACT of his attorney’s letter saying.............”Rather, this appears to be an accusation of private, alleged consensual conduct between adults — a subject matter which is not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public. No individual, whether a private citizen, a candidate for public office or a public official, should be questioned about his or her private sexual life”

The attorney as good as admits the relationship was of a sexual nature. What more do we need, pictures?

Pure politics, I’ve always believed that Cain/Newt would be the best ticket given the dynamics of 2012 election.

In passing, in interviews before their “Lincoln/Douglas” debate in Texas, they said they should be the ticket- they just hadn’t decided who should be on top.

No, I agree with the other poster - that brings more media attention. Let them get the facts out if they want to chance getting sued.

We stay focused and continue getting our ideas out there.
If this tactic does not cause him harm - they will just pay some other person to come up with something.

Why do you think the media harps on this when they never did on Clinton or any other democrat. It is merely to insure power for Obama.

Wake up and realize we are in a very dirty battle here. If you are going to be that easy to turn - what use are you to the objective of getting Obama out and stopping the destruction of America?

Try fighting against Obama, democrats and GOP Washington elite. Maybe that would help us move forward a little.

“I find it surprising that so many FReepers still support him.”

I guess we either are smarter or have better noses than those who jumped off the Cain Train when this garbage began.
I SMELLED A RAT!

Have a great time living with Newt! May be a bit crowded with Princess Nancy in the bed!

My husband has no interest in who I talk to.I talk on the phone or text people all over the world. He trusts me.I heard that Cain's wife knew this woman and that he was helping her.Read it on FR.I help people too.I had a stalker a few weeks ago.Had to stand up to him in person. This did not involve my husband. If your out there it comes with the territory.Takes courage to stay in and I am proud of him and his wife and family.

I am not a fan of Cain or any of the other candidates, however, the problem with the elections is the fact that you have the insiders, who make money off of us electing them into Congress and the Presidency, which on a bipartisan basis, engage in Insider Trading, or at least what would be considered insider trading to the rest of us, because they have more access to corporate information, and possible needs to buy or sell stocks, then the rest of us regular people do. This is true both ways, and the main bulk have their own little “club” to make money, and throw someone occasionally under the bus as needs be, to keep any suspicion or anger off of them. This is actually not conspiracy theory either, Steve Kroft from CBS’ 60 Minutes actually did an investigation with the Hoover Institute at Stanford to confirm this:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2807061/posts

The big point is, when you realize why the media, and Congress are putting so much effort into spotlighting various candidates, they are simply doing it to be manipulative, and keep their dirty rear-ends in Congressional Seats. As far as Herman Cain goes, yes, he may be committing some act, but most of what I have heard is flattery more than anything else. What is the actual case against him? He may get exhausted or overwhelmed, but simple labels of morality aren’t going to just push my buttons in a heartbeat, I would rather have him push away through the following segments of the primaries then either of the two progressive GOPers, a.k.a. Romney and Gingrich.
